‘NBA 2K17’ Packed with So Many Great Features that Gamers Would Find it Hard to Settle on Just One, Critics Say!

The basketball simulation game “NBA 2K17” released last month on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, and the PC has conveniently maintained the franchise’s gold standard for sports games. The game has certainly upped the ante yet again from its predecessor, “NBA 2K16.”

It was clear that game developer 2K Games has done a lot of fine tuning on the game from its previous iterations and that is why “NBA 2K17” truly shines.

Most of the critics are actually one in saying that “NBA 2K17” is packed with so many great features that gamers would find it difficult to settle on just one.

However, it is still a good buy for the hardcore hoops head because it sure beats nothing playing a new video game after mastering the previous games in the series.

The Dream Team as an attraction

One of the major come-ons of “NBA 2K17” is the original Dream Team that played during the 1992 Olympics for the US featuring legendary NBA superstars Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, and more.

When the game finally rolled out to the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox One, the Xbox 360, and the PC on September 20, one of the glitches encountered by gamers is their inability to find the original Dream Team in the game.

2K Games made it as a pre-order bonus to gamers but for some reason, the feature was a no-show after the game was officially released last month, especially on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

As such, 2K Games released Patch 1.03 for “NBA 2K17” recently to address the glitch on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, which solved the problem.

According to the patch notes, the problem was indeed solved but there are some who are still missing their Olympic Dream Team.

Patch 1.03 is actually a 7GB update and basing on the list of changes and fixes that it brought along, it is indeed quite large.

While these changes are good, the biggest fixes that Patch 1.03 brought along are in MyGM and MyLeague.

Gamers who love MyGM and MyLeague will appreciate 2K adding almost 24 years worth of data for teams, up from just two years worth of information prior.
