The fourth installment of OnePlus will have the 3D Touch. It will also have an OLED display with pressure sensitivity. The OnePlus 4 will have a 5.5-inch screen, which will have a 4K display with 4096X2160 screen resolution.
If OnePlus 4 gets the 4K display, then it will be the first phone to get a 4K screen resolution.
The device will also get the much-needed boost when it comes to the internal features.
OnePlus 4 will have two variants, one with a 6GB RAM and the other with an 8GB RAM. It will also come equipped with the latest 7.0 Android Nougat. The phone will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor.
The OnePlus 4 will have an internal storage capacity of 64 GB. The storage will obviously be expandable since the phone will have a dedicated microSD card slot. Game N Guide reported that OnePlus 4 might better the external storage of the predecessor.
Rumors suggest that the external memory of OnePlus 4 can expand to 256 GB for the 8 GB RAM variant. OnePlus 4 will be a winner when it comes to the storage since everyone wants to store their photos and videos on their smartphones.
OnePlus 4 will have a better battery life than the OnePlus 3. It will get a 4000 mAh battery. This feature would be a winner since the majority of the smartphones fail to deliver on battery life. The phone will also have the option of wireless charging.
Apple iPhone 7 has a 1960 mAh battery, and if the iPhone 8 doesn’t come with a better battery, then it will lose out in this category.
Parent Herald reported that the OnePlus 4 would carry a GPU Adreno 620 and the latest Oxygen OS.
OnePlus was popular because of the camera. iPhone 8 is set to have the dual-camera system, and if OnePlus 4 intends to compete with the next iPhone, then it will require a powerful camera. According to International Business Times, the company is looking to providing OnePlus 4 with a 23 MP rear camera.
The camera will have Sony’s sensor integration.
The news about the camera hasn’t been confirmed by the company officially.
OnePlus devices have all been powered by the Google. With Google launching its new line of smartphones, Pixel and Pixel XL, there is bound to be a comparison between them and OnePlus 4.
HNGN reported that both the phones would have a similar screen size and 4K resolution with OLED screen. The processor for the two will be different. While Snapdragon 821 processor powers Google Pixel and Pixel XL, OnePlus 4 will come with the 830 processor.
OnePlus will also have a better RAM than Google Pixel and Pixel XL.
While OnePlus 4 has created a buzz with its rumored 256 GB expandable memory, Google Pixel and Pixel XL will have a 32GB or 128 GB internal storage, which cannot be expanded.
OnePlus 4 beats Google Pixel when it comes to the camera as well.
