2015 Toyota Camry Brings Many Updates!

Toyota has been upgrading the Camry models for a few years now and the last major upgrade came along back in 2012. The 2015 model is looking very promising for updates to one of the most popular Toyota models on the market. The Toyota Camry is coming to dealership parking lots all over the country and it will be getting plenty of attention if loyal fans are in tune to the updates. This model is going to come with a sports model that sports the V6 engine and features you would normally see on sports cars.

In the past, Toyota has not really been very good at giving the consumers a “sport” model. For the most part a sport model was one with a spoiler on the truck. This time around, however, it looks like Toyota has a different outlook on the meaning of a sport model. If you are looking at the 2015 Toyota Camry XSE, you are going to be looking at different tires, wheels, transmission gearing and a tighter suspension to add to an already comfortable ride.

It would appear that these updates to the Camry are very similar to what Honda has been doing with the Accord for many years now. One thing that stands out according to one reviewer is the huge grille. It does not matter what model you decide to look at, the grille will be there staring right back at you. Both of the new models have improved handling, experience under-steering while going through corners quickly, but the XSE has a tighter handle on the bumpy patches it was tested on.

As far as electronics in the car, the infotainment was not something that was very easy to figure out. The tester tried to sync his Android powered smartphone with the Camry and was struggling until further resources were checked. The car comes with USB and 12-volt plugs are located just ahead of the shift knob, but the way they are positioned makes plugging your phone in somewhat bothersome and is not easy to do with the lights off.

Toyota is generally an affordable car, but the prices for the two tested Camry models was around 37,000. That is about $5,000 more than the base price is is most likely attached to system upgrades like electronics, or even wheel and tire combos. Overall the tested models were reviewed on a positive note and since the car has been selling since September, more attention has fallen on the new Toyota Camry models.
