There is hardly any information on Stranger Things Season 2. The bosses are tight-lipped about what fans can expect in the upcoming season. The only information available is that the season will have nine episodes. This news is reason enough for cheer since the previous season only had eight episodes.

One thing that desperately wants to find out about is Barb’s fate. Barb connected with the audience in the first season of Stranger Things. However, the finale saw her get into a tight spot, and this has kept her future in the series questionable.

Even Matt Duffer, the creator of Stranger Things, made it clear that there isn’t any scope of Barb returning in Season 2. However, given that she was a highly popular character, she won’t be forgotten.

Duffer said that the fans shouldn’t feel cheated about Barb’s character. Barb will get justice. Duff stated that a lot is happening in the town, but they aren’t depicting it all on screen. The viewers should be patient since Stranger Things will get to it soon enough.

Shannon Purser who plays the role of Barb has sent the fans into a tizzy. She tweeted about the Stranger Things Season 2 becoming a reality. She expressed happiness about reuniting with her fellow cast members soon.

The instant fans saw the tweet; they enquired if Shannon Purser will be back to reprise her role of Barb in Stranger Things Season 2. Purser responded saying that she was as clueless about the plot as the viewers.

Apart from Barb, Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) return in Stranger Things Season 2 is also unclear. Eleven was a beloved character, and her relationship with Mike (Finn Wolfhard) was swoon worthy. However, Eleven sacrificed herself to defeat the Demogorgon.

She got stuck in the Upside Down, and there is no information on whether she will be rescued from there. Even Millie Bobby Brown is unclear of her role in Season 2 of Stranger Things.

Season 2 of Stranger Things have made casting calls for three new characters. One is the strong and confident Max. She is a 12 or a 14-year-old girl who is a tomboy and loves riding the skateboard.

Max will have a muscular and hyper-confident older brother who would drive around in a Camaro. Apart from these two, there will be another older gender and race neutral character called Roman, who will be on a revenge streak.

The casting call specifically mentioned that they are looking for actors of different ethnicities. They are particular about men with longer hair styles and women who are ready to cut their bangs.

Noah Schnapp who plays the role of Will Byers recently spoke to Hollywood Reporter. He said that the finale of Season 1 saw Will coming back to his family, but things aren’t going to be normal. He stated that his character would puke monstrous slimy slugs.

Noah Schnapp said that he doesn’t know what the creator has planned for Season 2 of Stranger Things, but he can predict that his character will be turning evil. Will is coughing up Demogorgon babies, and there is a possibility of him incubating or keeping these eggs to himself.

Will has been struggling to let his good side prevail over his bad and the fight will become harder in the next season.
