Community Season 6: Cast Parties for Episode 100, Chevy Chase Rumored to Be Featured in Upcoming Episode!

If any show deserves a big celebration for reaching 100 episodes, it’s definitely “Community”. After getting nearly cancelled several times throughout its six-run season, the show not only managed to survive, but actually gathered a huge fan base that follows it to this day. Sure, lots of changes happened behind the scenes that were not pleasant for everyone involved, such as the firing of Dan Harmon who originally created the show, but in the end, the production managed to hit its 100th episode, and this was celebrated appropriately by the cast members.

Along with the celebration for the achievement, many of the actors shared their experience with the show’s production so far, and gave their opinion on how things have been going. Alison Brie, for example, was excited that the show has gotten so far, commenting that not many shows manage to even get six seasons at all, let alone after getting nearly canceled multiple times.

Danny Pudi seems to be a bit of a pessimist, or at least he sees his fellow cast members as such, as he claims that every time an episode has been successfully filmed, everyone is usually worried that this will be the last one, and that the cancellation will finally strike them for good after that.

Still, everyone seems to be relatively calm during the filming of the new season, according to Pudi, and the rest of the cast members agreed as well. Actually, the cast’s spirits seem to be higher than ever, as many have been inspired by their recent success and are now convinced that they can move forward and take the show even further. They are apparently not too concerned about what will happen after season six, as they treat it like a bonus that they weren’t supposed to receive in the first place anyway.

And, in some special news related to the show, it’s rumored that Chevy Chase might make a cameo appearance in one of the upcoming episodes in season 6. The actor hasn’t been involved with the production since he left it during season 4, which was the culmination of a long-running argument between him and Dan Harmon. However, now it seems that he might come back for a brief appearance, something which was confirmed by him during an AMA on Reddit. According to the actor, he’s open to contributing even more than his small cameo if the rest of the crew have any interest in working with him, so it remains to be seen if viewers will get to enjoy more of Chevy Chase during the sixth season of “Community”.
