Apparently, that is how critics are viewing the current rumors saying that actor Jamie Dornan and co-star Dakota Johnson of the upcoming erotic romance flick “Fifty Shades Darker” are having a secret affair.
The same speculations even went the extra mile in detailing that the two stars of “Fifty Shades Darker” will go on to formally announce their real relationship during the premiere night of their second movie together, following the blockbuster hit “Fifty Shades of Grey” released in February last year.
It was clear from the get-go that the rumors are made up since it is obviously meant to hype the interest and anticipation to “Fifty Shades Darker” due to hit theaters in February next year.
The sad part of the rumors is that Jamie Dornan is said to be planning to divorce his wife, Amelia Warner, right after he and Dakota Johnson announced that they are a couple, reports Headlines & Global News.
That would have been ruthless and it is highly doubtful that Jamie Dornan would do such a thing because he would surely be facing a massive fan backlash if he and Dakota do that.
Comparing failing marriage to ‘Brangelina’
The same set of rumors is also saying that the failing marriage of Jamie Dornan and Amelia Warner is similar to what happened recently to the union of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Critics also believe that some of the rumor-mongers are just capitalizing on the hot and trending issue of the recent separation of ‘Brangelina’ to highlight the upcoming movie based on the erotic romance trilogy by E.L. James.
The speculations are also saying that Jamie Dornan is already living separately from his family and bought a new house to be able to share it with Dakota Johnson.
The rumors were actually fueled by Warner’s reported revulsion against some of the steamy scenes between her husband and Dakota Johnson in the upcoming second and third movie of the same trilogy, “Fifty Shades Darker,” and “Fifty Shades Freed,” respectively.
However, all these remain as speculations and should be taken with a fine pinch of salt. Some fans and critics also do not believe such rumors since Amelia Warner just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl early this year, and they are positive that the attention of Jamie Dornan is with his newborn baby daughter more than any other girl in the world.
A confrontation between Mrs. Grey and Elena Lincoln
Actress Marcia Gay Hayden, who played the role of Mrs. Grey in “Fifty Shades of Grey” and who shall be reprising the same character in “Fifty Shades Darker,” has hinted of a big confrontation scene between her character and that of Elena Lincoln, based also on the book.
Elena Lincoln is played in the sequel by Kim Basinger and she introduced herself to Christian Grey as Mrs. Robinson. She is the woman who seduced Christian to become her submissive and pushed him into the world of BDSM at the young age of 15, details Access Hollywood.
Hayden recently detailed how her character and Elena had that confrontation in the film. She said that it was a party scene and Elena comes in having some argument with Mrs. Grey, who has come to know how the lady abused her son so she slapped her.
Marcia said that she and Kim have done the scenes over and over again but it was merely fake slaps in all, she recounted. She describes Mrs. Grey as a real mother bear character.
“Fifty Shades Darker” is said to be much more risqué compared to the first film in terms of the intimate sex scenes between the two lead stars.
In fact, rumors are rife that Jamie Dornan has gone the full monty during the filming which the actor neither confirmed nor denied during a recent interview.
Some critics are saying that it is one safe way of ensuring that no spoiler on the movie gets out or the actor is also very protective of the feelings of his wife over the matter.
