‘Blue Bloods’ Season 7 Episode 2 to See Danny Reagan and Maria Baez Probing the Death of an Old Woman from a Stray Bullet!

Season 7 of the American police procedural drama TV series “Blue Bloods” premiered on CBS on September 23 which picked up from the Season 6 finale with another riveting episode entitled “The Greater Good.”

The Season 7 premiere episode showed lawyer Robert Lewis, played by Michael Imperioli, from the Attorney General’s office, obtaining new evidence against Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg, in the murder case of serial killer Thomas Wilder, played by Louis Cancelmi, back in Season 6.

Danny has previously thought that the case was already closed after he took justice into his own hands and murdered the serial killer.

However, new evidence surfaced which might have changed the previous court ruling so the case was reopened.

It can be recalled that Danny’s decision to kill Wilder was because he wanted revenge. During their encounter, Wilder bluffed Danny that he had a gun, forcing Danny to shoot him.

Lewis worked on proving to the court that Danny’s alibi of self-defense is not true so he presented new evidence to prove that Danny killed Wilder because the serial killer already became a huge threat to the safety of his family.

The episode also featured a mother named Grace Edwards, played by Lori Loughlin, asking NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan to keep her only son out of the police force.

The second episode of “Blue Bloods” Season 7, entitled “Good Cop Bad Cop” to air on September 30, will see Danny and his partner Maria Baez, played by Marisa Ramirez, investigating the death of an elderly woman who was shot in her home by a stray bullet, reports Fabnewz.

Over at the NYPD headquarters, Frank shall be facing ridicule from his department when he disciplines a disrespectful cop.

Erin Reagan-Boyle, played by Bridget Moynahan, will also be stepping in during the episode to help her detective friend, Sgt. Anthony Renzulli, played by Nicholas Turturro, find a legal solution to a case that is personal to him.

Guest star in episode 2

Suzanne Shepherd, who is best remembered for her role in the critically-acclaimed film “Goodfellas” shall be the guest star in the second episode of “Blue Bloods” Season 7, notes Headlines & Global News.

According to the spoilers of the upcoming episode of “Blue Bloods,” the American actress and theater director shall be portraying the role of Lucille Abetermarco.

It is not clear whether Shepherd would be portraying the role of the elderly woman that got accidentally shot by the stray bullet or somebody else during the episode.

In any case, her cameo appearance in the TV series is a welcome news to the millions of fans of “Blue Bloods.”

All for the sake of revenge

Back in the first episode of Season 7 of “Blue Bloods,” Danny was having a soul-searching of sort in the early goings. Danny asked his father Frank if he ever regretted being a cop.

Frank told his son that he may have plenty of regrets in his life but being a police officer is not one of them. It was an indirect message of support to his son, who seems to be in a quagmire for killing an unarmed serial killer in cold blood.

Erin also gave her brother Danny advice on how he should respond when he gets questioned by the lawyer from the Attorney General’s office. Erin told him to slow down on the way he talks because his attitude might make him go to trial for murder.

What seems to be at play in the trial during the first episode of Season 7 are the name and legacy of the Reagan family who are the real Blue Bloods, which might be tarnish by the case hurled against Danny.

When the case against Danny was reopened, Frank immediately tendered his resignation to the Mayor as Police Commissioner, but the local chief executive turned it down.

“Blue Bloods” follows the story of the Irish-American Reagan family of police officers with the New York Police Department (NYPD).
