Apple Watch 2 Reviewed, Performance Gain on the Cards, GPS and All New Straps Available!

Apple Watch came after years of speculation but soon after being introduced; it became the King of the smartwatch scene. People became fond of the versatility, the applications, and all its features. However, the application speeds somewhat managed to turn off people. At the same time, many of such criticisms were properly answered in watchOS 3.0.

The new Apple Watch software was released this month. The new software is much faster compared to anything we’ve seen running before, on the Apple Watch. Almost all the complaints were answered in series two besides the necessity of making them work with a fully available mobile network connection. If you look at it for the first time, not a lot of things will appear to have changed.

However, in reality, the Apple Watch 2 has a few tricks up its sleeve and is also heavier than its predecessor, thanks to more battery. On other accounts, it is quite similar to the first Apple Watch. The major changes undergone are a fast dual-core processor, GPS, a display which is two times as bright as before and water resistance.

The first Apple Watch is still available, but it seemed to have been upgraded with a more efficient processor and made available at a lower price. Setting it up is quite simple. You can simply strap it to your wrist to get things started. Then, wriggle your iPhone towards it, which now runs a better watch IOS app to pair with the device.

Now, all you need to do is select a watch face, enable a few applications and you’re good to get started. Meanwhile, if you own more than one Apple Watches to be used with the same device, you can simply enable the one you have worn that day, by lifting up your arm while having it on.

Your smart iPhone will make sure it knows which watch is being used that day. The newly introduced speed improvements are quite impressive, but you might face a little lag when the application is loading for the first time. The subsequent load of apps was faster in Apple Watch 1 compared to watchOS2.

You can rest assured that Apple Watch 2 brings a lot of speed improvement to the table and developers will be building a lot of new apps and better designs that can use these improvements.

According to claims from Apple, Apple Watch 2 will provide you with 50% faster CPU performance and two times faster graphics performance in the latest model. The brighter screen in the new device can be easily seen under sunlight, and they manage to do their work without leaving you hanging.

Two things which have been improved greatly are GPS and the latest swimming apps. Apple has worked pretty hard with the release of this new device and it’s clearly noticeable. The new watch is indeed the best fitness tracker money can buy. At the same time, you can use it to call for help, purchase groceries and make phone calls.

Overall, the watch is very versatile. The new GPS is amazing. Earlier, you had to bring out your iPhone to get your location data. However, with Apple Watch 2, you receive great accuracy, pace, location, speed, distance, and they directly feed into the other health-related applications that you have.

With the new GPS chip, you don’t need an iPhone to tether with the watch so as to log and track your workout data. Therefore, while running, you don’t need an iPhone running with you. With the GPS, applications like Pokémon GO will be soon integrated.
