The final ten episodes of “Pretty Little Liars” won’t be back until April next year, but executive producer Marlene King is already teasing fans what to expect when the Freeform hit series comes to a close.
King recently went on Twitter to share some dialogue on the series finale that excited a lot of fans. Her first tweet was a conversation of Alison and Spencer confirming the latter survived her gunshot during the Season 7A finale.
The showrunner said that back in 2010 when the show was just about to begin, she also shared some excerpts of the scripts from the pilot and she likes to parallel that action upon the show’s ending.
King then went on to share a dialogue that hints Aria’s happy ending with Ezra. This was then confirmed by Lucy Hale herself who reassured her character is still getting married in Season 7B despite Ezra finding out that his ex-girlfriend Nicole is still alive in Colombia.
While the Ezria wedding was no big surprise, Marlene revealed that one more wedding will take place. Fans are now saying that either Hanna or Caleb or Spencer and Toby will tie the knot.
During the Season 7A finale, Hanna and Caleb finally reaffirmed their relationship and are more likely to wed.
Tragedy came for Spencer and Toby as Spencer was shot by Jenna and was also revealed to be Mary Drake’s second child while Toby and Yvonne met an accident on their way to their new home.
Keegan Alley tweeted that Toby is already dead, but the actor was recently spotted on the set hinting that Toby might have survived his ordeal. Marlene also shared a script where Toby and Spencer are talking to one another.
Fans allude that this could be their wedding vows, but knowing Marlene, this could also be a flashback scene.
Along with the wedding, the showrunner also gave fans a reminder that someone will also most likely die in Season 7B. She says that the show thrives on mystery and deaths and it wouldn’t be a series finale without a possible major character meeting his or her demise.
King said that more deaths will be coming their way in the second half of the final season and the deaths are all part of the solution to the biggest mystery the girls are facing.
The showrunner also revealed that the title of the two-hour series finale is “Till deAth do us pArt” hinting that someone will die during a wedding.
After the Season 7A finale, Marlene and the five lead stars went on to announce on Facebook that it would be the final season for “Pretty Little Liars.”
The cast all thanked their fans who supported the show from the beginning and promised that the final ten episodes would satisfy all of them.
Production for the final season is underway and is already coming to a close. The whole cast has been snapping endlessly that some of their set are now being torn down.
Ashley Benson shared a photo on Instagram with the rest of the Liars and implied in the caption that they only have two more episodes to film.
Marlene later confirmed that filming will wrap up by October 10th. Troian Bellisario will also make her directorial debut in the season’s 15th episode entitled “In the Eyes Abide the Heart.”
The show’s official Instagram account also shared a photo of Ali and Mona who will share a scene in the Season 7B premiere.
According to Us Weekly, the second half of the last season will start moments after the Season 7A finale. The love triangle between Emily, Ali, and Paige will be explored further in the next few episodes. Ali will also most likely have her baby before the show ends.
