Ariana Grande’s North American ‘Dangerous Woman’ Tour Reported Stiff Price Turning Away Spectators

Typical after launching a new album, a music artist schedules a concert tour that is expected to follow in order to promote the album and generate sales.

That seems to be the route taken by pop diva “Ariana Grande” with her newly-released album entitled “Dangerous Woman.” A North American “Dangerous Woman” concert tour is already slated from February 2 to April 15 next year where the “Focus” singer is to perform in 36 different venues.

Tickets for Ariana Grande’s third concert series went on sale over the weekend but after an opening rush, it had reached a plateau before bottoming out.

It became clear that there were only a few tickets that were sold in most venues. While it is too early to tell at this time since the concert tour is a little over four months from happening, it should be noted that the concert tours of popular artists are normally sold out just a few days after tickets are made available.

Unfortunately, it is not the case for the upcoming concert tour of the 23-year-old songstress and critics are pointing out the stiff price pegged by the organizers on most tickets as the likely culprit. When VIP tickets are being offered for as high as $599, even the most avid of the Arianators would find it not to their pockets’ liking, reports Perez Hilton.

Given the initial negative trend on the ticket sales of “Dangerous Woman” concert tour, some are saying that Ariana Grande’s performance may be in danger of not bringing in a full house.

Some of her avid fans, however, think that ticket sales would pick up as the concert tour draws near and Ari would come up with a good number of sell-out crowd from her 36 gigs slated early next year.

Ariana’s history with country music

Only a few of her fans know that Ariana Grande has a family history of country music. This was put to light when country music legend Ronnie Dunn announced recently that he will be releasing an album titled after a cover of Ariana’s song, “Tattooed Heart,” reports Rolling Stone.

In a recent interview, Ari said that her grandfather always wanted her to do something in the country music world. She said that she did not know if that would ever happen but if the opportunity comes along, she would be more than happy to make it happen.

Ariana Grande admitted that Dixie Chicks were the only country music act she listened to while growing up.

At the moment, the “Problem” singer is preparing for her role in the NBC live production of the Broadway musical, “Hairspray Live!” set for December 7.

Not talking about her relationship on air

TV personality and radio talk show host Ryan Seacrest may have seemed to have subconsciously gotten the ire of pop superstar Ariana Grande during an interview on his radio show “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” two weeks ago.

During the conversation, Seacrest asked about Ariana Grande’s new love interest, Mac Miller. His question actually emanated from an Instagram post of the “Dangerous Woman” singer featuring a black-and-white photo of Mac Miller hugging Ariana Grande on the floor. She also captioned the photo with ‘Baabyy.’

Her post has since earned nearly 100,000 likes from her 84.1 million followers on the photo-sharing social media app.

Seacrest’s line of questioning made Grande feel uncomfortable and she snapped at the talk show host by saying that if she posts something, that was what she was willing to share at that moment.

The “Problem” singer added that it does not mean that Ryan Seacrest with his millions of listeners is entitled to more information.

The talk show host appeared to be piqued as well so he retorted that it is what they do because if someone posts something, and that includes him, it becomes something.

Unlike in her interview with Ryan Seacrest on September 13, Ariana Grande’s subsequent guesting on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” on September 14 was smoother.
