Nicki Minaj is proving the adage that she is her brother’s keeper and she wants her younger brother to be happy too romantically.
She just became a worthy candidate to the title of the best sister ever when she personally opened applications for potential new sister-in-law for her 18-year-old brother Micaiah, reports MTV.
Apparently, the “Super Bass” singer is accepting applications for all single ladies when she put out the call for a new girlfriend on September 22 for Micaiah and tweeting it to her 20 million followers.
Nicki retweeted and replied to several fans who nominated either themselves or other people they know. Eventually, the “Anaconda” hip-hop artist came up with a brilliant idea. She will just throw a party for potential girlfriend materials to her baby brother. But it is going to be an invite-only affair.
Apparently, the singer is maintaining high standards for the women in her little brother’s life so she detailed all the qualities she is looking for the ideal girlfriend or would-be wife of his brother also on her Twitter account.
She will be working to set the party up soon and will make the details available also on her social media accounts.
Nicki also tweeted that it was also her idea of being an annoying older sister to her younger brother, with a bit of concern nonetheless.
An apology to Nicki
Meanwhile, rapper The Game has apologized to Nicki Minaj for mentioning her name in the brutal diss track “92 Bars” aimed at her boyfriend Meek Mill and his scandalous photoshopped picture of him and Nicki.
The Game said that it was done in poor taste but he did not mean any disrespect, reports Hiphop DX.
In an interview with The Breakfast Club on September 23, The Game said that Nicki should just stay out of it, adding that she is in her lane and she is doing her thing. The rapper also referred to Nicki as an amazing artist whom he loves and respect.
He said sorry for dragging her into the issue but it was a minimal drag. He explained that Nicki was not disrespected at all because he just went in and did what he had to do.
The Game explained that the picture looked like a photo shoot or a video shoot, but it does not look like the two of them in a hotel room.
He added that there was no intended malice because there is no rapper or hip-hop artist who does not want to smash Nicki Minaj.
Keeping it together and still going strong
Despite the challenges that they have been through as of late, Nicki Minaj and boyfriend Meek Mill are still going strong.
They have recently decided to move back to the West Coast and the original plan was to buy a property in Los Angeles, particularly in the posh Beverly Hills. But with Meek Mill’s recent house arrest, the acquisition had to be put on hold.
But since they really like the property they saw in Beverly Hills, they decided to rent it for the time being with a staggering $30,000 a month.
The couple has really redefined Beverly Hills with a capital L by renting the 9-bedroom, 8-bathroom, and 5-car garage mansion over an 11,500-square feet property.
Because of the legal entanglements that Meek Mill is currently into, the lease agreements and other pertinent documents are all being signed by the “Anaconda” singer.
The same reports are now saying that Meek Mill is now putting the mansion’s vast parking space to good use for his ATVs.
More than its elegance and sprawling size, the mansion actually offers a sweeping and impressive view of the valley below. The property has a spacious lawn, an outdoor swimming pool, and a barbecue area.
