Things have been moving in a bit of a bad direction for fans of “Days of Our Lives”, as the show is about to send off once of its main characters, Theresa. This was confirmed by Jen Lilley who plays the role of Theresa on the show, but the actress did not want to reveal how exactly the producers plan on killing her character.
At the same time, there have been rumors of more character deaths possibly coming up in the next episodes, so things are overall looking a bit grim. Of course, it’s possible that this could all lead up to some more positive developments, and we might see some happier moments later on. But with everything that’s happened on the show so far, this seems like a slim possibility.
Who else could be killed off alongside Theresa? Tate is one of the main suspected targets right now, and some fans apparently do see it as a big probability that he might be the one to go. Still, it would be a pretty disheartening development for many if it turned out to be true, as seeing the death of another child character so soon after Zack died is going to be messy.
“Days of Our Lives” has proven to be a pretty dark show at times, so we expect that the producers could indeed be planning some more negative developments in the next episodes. They’ve already shown that they aren’t afraid to make things tough for their characters when it can benefit the pace of the show’s storytelling, and we’ve seen them do quite a lot before, so that wouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
What else is coming up in the near future of “Days of Our Lives”? Another major point that’s been brought up several times is the chance of seeing Deimos and Victor putting their efforts together in order to save their family.
The two can potentially do quite a lot if they joined forces like that, but at the same time, the current state of the Kiriakis family makes it questionable exactly how much of an effect they could have. Hopefully they are not too late to save the rest of the family members, but we suspect that the producers might decide to throw some unexpected surprises in there.
Deimos has been working in that direction to some extent, so it makes sense that he would continue his efforts. On the other hand, Victor could prove useful in addressing some of the finer points of the situation with the family as well.
The biggest problem would be convincing everyone to just set their differences aside and work together in the name of the family. It seems like this is anything but possible right now, and will take some serious conversations. But in the end, we hope that there will be some sort of resolution for the characters, as having the family fall apart would be a major blow to the show’s current story.
“Days of Our Lives” has actually done a fantastic job portraying this complicated aspect of families in difficult situations. When family members have some serious differences to settle, things can get ugly fast, especially when other things are also on the table. We’ve been able to see this kind of story from an interesting angle over the last few episodes.
