‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ Remastered Gamers to be Hugely Disappointed if it Comes Out Not Bundled to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Note Critics

It has been said that the latest entry to the first-person shooter “Call of Duty” video game franchise is going to be “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.”

In order to hype the game and add interest to it, it has also been reported that game publisher Activision would be throwing in a remastered version of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” courtesy of Raven Studios for good measure.

The bonus game shall be officially titled “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered” when it comes out on November 4 on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC.

In fact, there have been reports saying that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered is the biggest and most valuable bonus content ever from Activision.

Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision, recently described that this year’s remastered version of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” is the company’s biggest bonus content ever because the original game is actually one of the greatest of all time.

Hirshberg said that they have had the collectors’ editions in the past that have been creatively and well-received by fans and gamers but the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered shall actually take the place of things in the past like the night-vision goggles, GoPro action cameras, or Juggernaut refrigerator for the players’ game rooms.

Shocking the gamers

However, there have been rumors as of late that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered shall be a standalone game from “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” and that it would come out separately.

The speculations have hugely disappointed many fans of the two upcoming games since their interpretation is that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered is going to be a bonus content for “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,” details Gamerant.

To clear the air of apprehension, Activision released a statement saying that the two games are going to be separate alright but they are to be bundled in November during the launch of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.”

Gamers would not be able to buy or play “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered if they are not going to purchase “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” in November.

Three are also reports saying that Activision may be planning to release “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered as a standalone title at a later time but not in November where it is to be bundled with “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.” This was confirmed by David Pellas, Director of Raven Studios, the developer for the remastered version of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,” reports Attack of the Fanboy.

Staggered release of the gameplay maps

Pellas said that what they have previously announced is that the developer and publisher are going to offer 10 maps for “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered during the launch of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” in November.

They will release or launch the six remaining maps for a price for those who shall be purchasing “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered after it becomes a standalone title at a later date.

But if the gamers shall be purchasing the bundle featuring the two games, the 16 maps of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” Remastered can be obtained by gamers at no additional cost at all.
