Elder Scrolls fans rejoice as we have something important to announce today! If reports are to be believed, Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia is under development at the moment, and Bethesda Softworks is rumored to announce the release date of Argonia at the PlayStation Experience event this December.
Bethesda has been paying great attention to Elder Scrolls 6, and it seems to have paid off quite well! The release date has been pegged at March 2016, although, the date is yet to be confirmed officially. Elder Scrolls 6 has been revolving entirely around rumors since day one, ever since a group of disgruntled fans took up the task of piecing together possible storylines to garner support for the upcoming installment of the game.
The fans got tired of waiting and decided to piece together a plot, so that the developers would have no other alternative, but to pay heed to their requests. Looks like the plan has worked! However, a faction of the fan base believes that the fanfare regarding the release date is hoax and is entirely fan-made! This could be a reality as there is no concrete proof pointing otherwise.
Only an official statement from Bethesda can stop the onslaught of hoax information from floating around any further, although, Bethesda is likely to stay mum, which is hardly surprising! However, we cannot blame the developers as The Elder Scrolls title has a lot of minor details that need to be addressed properly to gain the maximum!
Hence, Bethesda could use a little more time. We also need to consider that there has been a huge time frame since Skyrim released, which means that had Bethesda been working tirelessly on the next installment, and they should have had something presentable at the moment. Considering the global popularity enjoyed by Skyrim, Elder Scrolls 6 is expected to get bigger and better! Let’s hope Bethesda does not fail their fans this time, especially after making them wait for over half a decade.
We are not sure if the upcoming title has officially been pronounced Argonia as an official statement is yet to arrive. Argonia is a fan creation, which is verified by Bethesda. The company had asked fans to come up with worthy ideas regarding the gameplay, which they wanted to see, and the experts chose a few from the numerous ideas that flowed in.
