One of the all-time popular contestants from American Idol has to be Adam Lambert. Lambert has now become a famous musician. He had appeared on the 14th season of American Idol and had predicted that one of the contestants, Sal Valentinetti, was going to make it big.
As predicted by Adam Lambert, Sal Valentinetti is one of the ten finalists who will perform on the finale of America’s Got Talent. Sal Valentinetti, while talking about Adam Lambert, called him a larger than life performer, who is down to earth in real life.
Adam Lambert is having a rather busy 2016. The singer is currently in Tel Aviv where he will perform with Queen at Yarkon Park. Lambert had reached the city a day before Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer, Roger Taylor. The three were spotted at dinner together.
Adam Lambert had previously collaborated with Queen in 2009. Roger Taylor proposed the idea when he mentored Adam Lambert during Season 8 of American Idol. Both May and Taylor were highly impressed with Adam Lambert’s performance. They even joined the singer on stage to perform to ‘We Are the Champions.’
Adam Lambert brought in a fresh lease of life to the classic Queen songs. Their first collaboration was much appreciated, and Lambert performed with the band again during the 2011 MTV Awards.
The collaboration was highly successful, and Lambert and Queen decided to go on a tour together. The song list includes some of Queen’s all-time hits along Lambert’s chart-toppers.
Following his collaboration with Queen, Lambert started associating with some of the charitable causes with Queen. Brian May, Roger Taylor along with their manager Jim Beach founded The Mercury Phoenix Trust. Queen’s lead singer Freddie Mercury succumbed to AIDS in 1991. It is in his loving memory that the Trust is dedicated.
The Mercury Phoenix Trust aims at raising funds for the battle against HIV/AIDS. According to Celeb Mix, The Mercury Phoenix Trust organizes a project called, Freddie for A Day, on Freddie Mercury’s birthday. The project spreads awareness by bringing people to dress up as Freddie and raise funds for the Trust.
2016 celebrates the 70th birth anniversary of Freddie Mercury, and Adam Lambert has joined forces with The Mercury Phoenix Trust. He shot a video asking fans to raise 70 pounds, dollars, euros, and yen. Adam Lambert adds a touch of humor at the end of the 7070 Campaign.
Numerous fans have joined hands to create a page called Just Giving. The Mercury Phoenix Trust has officially sanction the page. The page aims at bringing together fans of Queen and Adam Lambert and raise funds to help the 7070 Campaign reach their goal.
Adam Lambert’s recent hit Ghost Town, is all about overcoming the hardship and coming out stronger. The fans felt that Broken, which released after Ghost Town would be the song that would show Adam Lambert back in his stronger avatar.
The name of the song doesn’t quite match up to the expectations of the fans. However, since the collaboration is with Tritonal & Jenaux, fans are hoping that the video is going to be a positive one.
Broken is the first single from Painting with Dreams. Tritonal approached Adam Lambert for the first single from his upcoming album, and the latter agreed to be in it along with Jenaux. The official video of the Tritonal & Jenaux ft. Adam Lambert is available on online, and it has received a positive response from the fans.

Adam Lambert may not be in news a lot in the US but behind the scenes there is a fandom that would blow the minds of most entertainers. Glamberts as we are called, are a group of Adam and now Queen fans who literally spend a significant portion of their time relating to all things Adam. The fandom has yet to understand the magnetism, that “thing” that compels us to follow, tweet, Facebook, write, paint, draw, do charity work all in this mans name. Obsession would be an appropriate word, addiction, Queenadamitis with no cure, etc. Fans rally at every poll, concert, mention of this man who we feel is the most talented and most underrated singer in the US. I hope “someday” MY country will give kudos as deserved, as other countries do, to this powerhouse, kind and sexy man!
I am a Lymebert. I’d love to be a true lambert and see a concert but I am mostly house/bed bound with Advanced Complex Lyme Disease. I do watch every video and read every article. As the other commenter wrote I don’t understand why our home country still shuts him out. I’m tired of hearing the same tired acts. I’d love to see QAL perform at Grammys or start doing movie scores again (yes I’m old enough)? I lived Queen and now I love then
M again. I wish I could listen to Adams versions of music on iTunes. Thanks Adam for making me stronger than I thought.
Sorry brain damage
