The fighting role-playing game “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” shall be hitting the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC in a little over a month’s time and reports are now saying that the game shall be introducing new characters mostly.
In fact, the same reports are also saying that the old characters from the predecessor game shall no longer be featured in “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” except for Goku Black, reports Game & Guide.
It could be recalled that Goku Black was the villain in “Dragon Ball Super” video game and it seems that he would still be an antagonist in “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.”
There were initial reports saying that Goku Black will only be playable to gamers who pre-ordered the character earlier. But because of the massive fan complaints, Japanese game developer Bandai Namco changed the plan and made the character available for everyone now.
However, Goku Black shall be had as a paid DLC and shall be coming to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” a few weeks after the game’s official launch late in October.
Changes in team gameplay
The latest trailer of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” was shown during the Gamescom 2016 held in Cologne, Germany and it unveiled to fans the many changes in the game compared to its predecessor including the team gameplay.

Game producer Masayuki Hirano of Bandai Namco also explained during Gamescom 2016 that players shall have the power to change history in “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.”
He added that the story of the latest video game shall be as long as “Dragon Ball Xenoverse” but it will be more fun to play because it will offer more new features.

The pictures also gave fans a preview to what the game is all about. It featured some of the game’s characters including the likes of Gogeta, Cell, Android 16, Majin Buu, and Mr. Satan.
An exciting feature of the game
This early, the Expert Missions gameplay mode of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” is now drawing plenty of gamer attention. In its most organic form, Expert Missions is the game’s team-up feature that allow up to six players to play together as one unit. The mode also enables players to implement strategies and plan as a group.
Bandai Namco has not only been teasing the gameplay over the last few months, it is also revealing the contents of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” and reports have it that more contents shall be disclosed as the game’s grand release date approaches.
“Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” is the sequel to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse” and during the Gamescom 2016 held in Cologne, Germany last month, it became obvious to gamers that the gameplay of the upcoming game is similar to the first game.
However, “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” plays out with a smoother mechanic and easier control compared to its predecessor game.
Also based on the preview of the gameplay of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2,” it seems that the focus of the game is indeed on its Single Player mode.
The Single Player mode of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” will have more parallel quests, a new system for rare items drops, costumes, and accessories for their character.
However, the developers at Bandai Namco still gave the multiplayer mode a nice facelift with the Expert Missions, which lets players team up to take down boss characters.
While there is not much information regarding which bosses players shall be able to take on in the multiplayer mode, the video teaser shows a number of popular Dragon Ball villains that might demand teamwork including Oozaure, Broly, and some powerful villains like Goku Black.
