Arrow Season 3 Fight with Ra’s al Ghul to Change Show Drastically, Reports Claim!

“Arrow” has been seeing some dramatic developments lately – the midseason finale of the show’s third season will apparently see some permanent changes to the plot as well. In the new episode, airing today, the show’s protagonist will face Ra’s al Ghu by himself – the leader of the League of Assassins. This is a fight that has been anticipated by fans of the show for a long time, and while it was expected that it would have some dramatic effects on the plot, the show’s producers have confirmed that the changes resulting from this fight will echo throughout the entire season.

This is coming straight from Marc Guggenheim, who currently heads the show’s production – according to him, the fight will change the show in a way that fans will keep seeing until the season is over, and the very presence of Ra in the plot will result in some serious shifts of the power balance. In particular, Guggenheim claimed that episode 9 will be the one that introduces the most dramatic changes.

In other news, Malcolm Merlyn will apparently be coming back a few more times throughout the remaining episodes of the season, and the character will actually have a strong presence in episode 10, which will be focused strongly on him. The episode will dig into the character’s past through a flashback which will give a glimpse into his backstory, an event that many fans have been eager to see after it’s been revealed to be coming. On the other hand, the shroud of mystery surrounding Malcolm has been part of the charm of the character for some people, so it would be interesting to see if the producers can reveal details about him without making him too boring.

Of course, fans will have to wait until 2015 to see this happening, as episode 9 will mark the end of season 3’s middle, and will be followed by a pause leading into 2015. Starting with episode 10, the show will reveal certain things about Malcolm’s character which are apparently not even known to him himself, and while there has been no shortage of speculation on what this could mean, there hasn’t been any official information about these revelations yet.

Arrow Season 3

It’s pretty common for TV shows to end their mid-seasons with a cliffhanger, and fans have been wondering what they are going to get as a “Christmas present” from the producers of “Arrow” for this season. The news about the upcoming permanent changes after episode 9 sound a bit ominous, but they could also indicate something positive. Given the fact that these changes will revolve around Ra’s al Ghu though, this isn’t very likely.
