The critics of Abby Lee Miller, the dance leader in the dance competition reality show “Dance Moms” on Lifetime, are ganging up on her and are saying that if she does not change her attitude towards her dancers and their respective mothers, the show might find it difficult to get new dancers and lead to the cancellation of the TV series.
It has been reported recently that Abby Lee Miller of the Abby Lee Dance Club (ALDC) has stated that she is determined to find a replacement for Maddie Ziegler to become the next star of “Dance Moms” Season 7.
It could be recalled that Maddie, along with her sister Mackenzie, and their mother Melissa Gisoni, decided to leave the show after the Season 6 finale in order to pursue her acting dreams and the proverbial greener pasture, considering that she is already a big star in her own right.
Maddie Ziegler’s career has skyrocketed following her departure from “Dance Moms.” Since leaving the show, she has become a judge for “So You Think You Can Dance.” She has also starred in several TV shows and films, most of which are yet to be shown in theaters and her fans are all saying that it is just the start for Maddie, reports the Parent Herald.
Few auditioning dancers
“Dance Moms” may still have the reliable young dancers in Kendall Vertes, JoJo Siwa, Nia Frasier-Sioux, Brynn Rumfallo, and Kalani Hilliker, but Abby decided just the same to hold auditions for “Dance Moms” Season 7 in an attempt to find new dancers and possible new cast members for the TV series.
However, when she arrived at one of the audition venues for “Dance Moms” Season 7, she was actually surprised to find out that only 11 auditioned for the show.
If the figures do not improve in the next few weeks, Abby Lee Miller and “Dance Moms” Season 7 may be up with a major struggle soon.
It is not clear, however, if Abby Lee Miller could still pull some strings to come up with new and excellent additions to the cast members of “Dance Moms” Season 7 so that she can live up to her promise that she will find a replacement for Maddie Ziegler for the upcoming season of the reality show.
No plans on returning to the show
There have been rumors after the departure of Maddie Ziegler that former “Dance Moms” star Chloe Lukasiak shall be returning to the TV series.
Lukasiak, who was named the 2016 Teen Choice Award choice dancer, finally came out in Maximo TV in a recent interview and ended the rumors when she said that she left “Dance Moms” after Season 4 and has no plans of returning, reports the Christian Times.
Critics believe that Abby Lee Miller should not look beyond the remaining stars of the show to develop and nurture a new star of “Dance Moms” because they think that the remaining stalwarts have the potential to become big and are just merely waiting for a break to come their way.
Chloe Lukasiak was first reported to return following her fellow “Dance Moms” alum Maddie Ziegler’s exit last season. The rumor was ignited when Lukasiak posted on Instagram that she will be moving out of her current studio.
This was taken by some fans to mean that she will rejoin dance coach Abby Lee Miller in the primary studio and return to “Dance Moms” Season 7.
Lukasiak was one of the fan-favorites in the series during her four-year run. Her exit was prompted by a feud between her mom Christi Lukasiak and Abby Lee Miller, who criticized the young dancer about a problem with her eyes, which was revealed to be the result of a medical condition.
She was deeply missed by fans, but it appears that she has moved on from the show. She has involved herself in a lot of dance projects ever since leaving “Dance Moms.”
