Kendall Jenner is in need of a ride and it’s a good thing she has a sister like Kim Kardashian who is willing to drive her.
According to Kim Kardashian, the 20-year-old model was reportedly banned from the ride-sharing service Uber.
In a Snapchat video on August 26, Kim said that she’s being forced to act as Kendall’s driver because Uber has suspended her account. Kim states that it’s past 11 pm and she has to drive Kendall around the city because she couldn’t catch a car via Uber.
Kendall was also in the clip saying that she’s Uber’s best client and asks Uber why her account was suspended while giggling.
Although it looks like Kim was joking, she said that Kendall does want to know why her account was suspended by Uber.
Kendall is a frequent user of Uber as she’s more comfortable commuting via the ride-sharing app than bringing her own car around town especially when she has fashion shows or go-sees.
The 35-year-old reality star also tweeted about the situation with a joke directed at the ride-sharing app. She also demanded an answer from Uber regarding her sister’s concerns with the app.
Kim also debuted her blonde hair during her trip with Kendall to West Hollywood hotspot and then to her husband’s exhibit in a secret place somewhere in Los Angeles.
However, it looks like Jenner wasn’t really banned from Uber. Following Kim’s rants on social media, Uber clarified the mix-up saying that Kendall’s account was temporarily suspended because of minor issues.
According to People, it was because of a minor account issue that is being resolved. While being resolved, her account was put on hold. The website says that Uber support staff has already reached out to Jenner.
Uber also clarified that this isn’t a case of behavioral issue of Kendall as a passenger and was really just a minor issue on her account. Uber has not given a statement if Jenner’s account has already been restored.
Following her recent run in with a stalker, speculations say that Uber might have upped her account details for her security.
Earlier this month, the brunette beauty was granted a temporary restraining order against Shavaughn McKenzie, the 25-year-old who has been stalking her for a long time now.
McKenzie stated he had numerous run-ins with the model, especially in her L.A. condo.
When the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality star moved to her $6.5 million Hollywood Hills mansion, he waited by the curb of her front gate one Sunday night.
When Jenner saw her, he locked her car doors and dialed a friend for help. This was when the stalker reportedly began banging her car windows. He claims that he’s not going to hurt Kendall and insists that she just wants to talk to her.
Kendall was reportedly screaming and crying inside her car as McKenzie raised his hands up in the air to assure her that he was not carrying a gun.
McKenzie was arrested and charged with misdemeanor trespassing and stalking to which he pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Kendall immediately heightened up her security at her house at the suggestion of her mom, Kris Jenner, who was really afraid for her daughter’s safety.
She recently sat down with Jimmy Kimmel in his show wherein Jimmy revealed that they are actually neighbors and he saw how tight Kendall’s security has become after the arrest of her stalker.
Kendall jokes that whatever happens to her, it’s Kimmel’s duty to protect her since they live a few steps away from each other. She says that it’s nice being neighbors with someone who’s also popular with many people.
