NCIS Season 14 Gets Complicated as New Characters and Story Arcs Are Introduced!

A TV show usually needs to go through some serious changes at some stage in its life in order to survive for more than ten seasons, and so far “NCIS” has shown that its producers are well willing to take such risks when the situation calls for it. The upcoming fourteenth season of the show might be its most complicated one yet, with various new developments coming up on the horizon. And while it’s good to see that the producers are pushing things forward and developing their idea, some fans are concerned that the changes might be coming in a little too fast for the show’s own good.

We’ve been hearing various rumors about season 14, indicating that the show is going to get new characters and a change in its overall tone. We are not sure what the producers are planning exactly with regards to that change, but it sounds like the overall pace of the show could become more hectic and unpredictable.

Cast members have been expressing positive thoughts for the recent developments on the set, and according to reports, Emily Wickersham is among those who are particularly fond of the changes. The actress has apparently been feeling a little alone being the only major female cast member, but that’s now about to change, reportedly allowing her to feel much more relaxed on the set.

Some familiar faces won’t show up immediately in the beginning of the season, and it will take a few episodes to see those characters, such as Clayton Reeves. Even though Duane Henry is now a core member of the show’s cast, the producers have decided to bring out his character at a later stage in the new season.

We’ve also been hearing various more minor rumors, all of which seem to paint a very chaotic and unpredictable picture, exactly like the one most cast members have been implying. There are talks of major developments like cheating, at least one pregnancy, and various relationships falling apart over the course of the season.

All in all, it sounds like season 14 is going to put a lot more emphasis on the personal relationships of the characters, and the show is going to dig deeper into the personalities of some of them. This has been discussed by fans for a long time, and “NCIS” could definitely benefit from a more detailed exposition of some of its characters right now. Hopefully the producers will be able to do this without taking away focus from the actual action on the show, which is of course what most fans want to see in the first place.

This is the main reason for some fans’ skepticism towards the new season, and it’s certainly a valid point to worry about. If the show starts to focus too much on developing personal relationships and pushes the actual crime solving to the background, this could be a disaster. People did not get drawn to “NCIS” for the drama.

Although, on the other hand, it’s clear that this drama is still a major attracting factor for many, and it’s a good idea for the producers to please those viewers as well. We’re just hoping that they are not going to lean too far in the wrong direction, which would have disastrous results for the show. But in the end, they’ve been running “NCIS” for quite a long time already, so they must obviously know what they’re doing.
