‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Could See Sansa Stark Becoming a Villain and Sadistic or Could Also Team Up with Jon Snow, Says Sophie Turner!

Sophie Turner, who plays the fan-favorite characters Sansa Stark in the HBO hit TV series “Game of Thrones” recently took part in Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event and she said during an interview that she feels sad that the show is only good for two more seasons.

She said that it would be uncomfortable for her to think about her life without “Game of Thrones.” She said that the show and its cast members have been like a family for her, which is why they always say they see their family every summer.

She also considers the TV series as her safety net as an actress despite landing the role of the young Jean Grey in “X-Men: Apocalypse,” details Variety.

The young actress said that she does not know what is going to happen to her after she is through with “Game of Thrones,” adding that she might slip into a deep, deep depression because she does not know what to do with herself.

She explained further that it is going to be very strange for her and she also feels that people are going to miss “Game of Thrones” quite dearly.

The direction that Sansa Stark may go into

Turner also confirmed that she already got the scripts for Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” but she refused to divulge the actual direction that her character, Sansa Stark, may take in the seven episodes of the upcoming seventh season.

She said that she actually does not know because of the way the last season left off. But there are so many options for her character to head into.

The beauteous young actress said that Sansa Stark could run with Peter ‘Littlefinger’ Baelish and become a villain and sadistic or she could also team up with her brother Jon in reclaiming the North for the Starks.

Given how the stars of the show previously misdirected fan queries whether Jon Snow was dead or alive for Season 6, it is possible that the statements of Turner are meant to once again misdirect the fans so that the upcoming episodes of Season 7 would not be spoiled at all.

During the same interview, Turner also hinted of the possible death of Sansa Stark, which could be a long, slow episode-lasting death where it is just one long scene of her death and no one else. But she was obviously saying that in jest.

She also added that Sana’s death is going to be the last episode of the last season, which means that eldest Stark daughter would be around all the way to the end.

Really ferocious dogs in real-life

During the penultimate episode of Season 6 featuring the Battle of the Bastards, the episode ended with Ramsay Bolton’s ferocious dogs eating their blood-soaked and injured master right in front of Sansa Stark, who seemed to have relished it.

The dogs in the scene were no computer-generated imageries or CGIs but they were actually very ferocious canines.

“Game of Thrones” Director Miguel Sapochnik, who earned his first Emmy Award nomination for his work in that brutal death scene of Ramsay Bolton, said that the scene was filmed in a kennel on a cold winter night.

He explained that the crew was looking forward to filming it just as much as the fans were looking forward to seeing it, cites The Wrap.

Sapochnik said that there is always a level of excitement or anxiety when shooting the death scene of any of the characters in the show. He added that it was a complicated scene because it was late in the shoot. Iwan Rheon, who plays Ramsay, was covered in sticky blood and was tied to a chair. Then there were also dogs who were quite ferocious in real life, describes the director.

Ramsay’s vicious hunting hounds come from a breed called the Cane Corso, or the Italian Mastiff. According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), the Cane Corso was bred to hunt down difficult game like the wild boar. The AKC also says that owners who have Cane Corsos should teach them to interact with other people and dogs from an early age so they know the difference between friend and foe, something which Ramsay’s dogs clearly didn’t.

Cane Corsos are also said to be fiercely loyal to their masters, but when their master is an abusive, amoral monster like Ramsay who conditions them into seeing anyone and anything as a potential food source, fans of “Game of Thrones” saw what happened.
