Lindsay Lohan is making headlines once again, this time about her love life. The 30-year-old actress finally talked about her abusive relationship with her ex-fiance, Egor Tarabasov.
Lohan sat down for an exclusive interview with Daily Mail’s Katie Nicholl after a series of photos and videos surfaced online showing a fight between the couple.
The video shows their heated argument escalated resulting in Egor getting physical with his beau. Lohan then eventually climbs back into the vehicle while her ex-fiance lingers away from it with his phone.
The images and videos were taken by people at the beach, where the couple was, who described that the Egor was literally tugging Lindsay’s arm behind her back. Some described their fight as really violent.
In the interview, LiLo confirmed that the Russian millionaire was abusive on multiple occasions and hinted that they had split a lot of times because of it.
The ‘Mean Girls’ star recounted an incident when they were celebrating her 30th birthday on the Greek island of Mykonos. Tarabasov allegedly took her phone from her and she grabbed his phone and threw it in the sand.
Lindsay says that her former fiance gets abusive when he’s drinking too much. She adds that one cannot stay in a relationship just for love. No woman can be hit and stay especially if the other person isn’t prepared to say sorry.
The incident allegedly happened just days after another scary altercation between the couple. Tarabasov reportedly strangled and almost killed Lohan on an apartment balcony after they had a night out.
Lindsay recalls that they had a petty fight but went to bed together after dinner and a few drinks. She then woke up to Egor standing over her and then suddenly attacking her.
The ‘Labor Pains’ actress shares that her then fiance went aggressive. Police were called in the actress’ flat because of that incident but no arrests were made.
Lohan also clarifies that she didn’t speak about this sooner because she’s dealt with enough police in L.A over her past blunders and misbehaviors. She tries to stay away from her former image of being a trouble maker, she adds.
The former Disney star then called up her friend Hoft Golan, who was great enough to bring her along St. Tropez to unwind and have some time for herself.
In an Instagram post, Lohan assured her fans that she was fine and apologized if she’s decided to deal with her problems privately.
Nicholl, who went live on ‘Good Morning Britain’ said that Lindsay was still wearing her engagement ring during her interview.
She even called the actress brave for telling the truth and said that LiLo was honest and candid while answering questions despite breaking down a couple of times.
Obviously, the pair isn’t together anymore and no wedding will be happening. Katie says that it appears never say never with Lindsay, but Egor is making it hard for her to give him another chance.
The 23-year-old businessman apparently has not yet apologized nor talked to Lindsay after their public altercation. Katie says that she thinks Lindsay is open for them to talk but she doubts if she will go back to that situation again.
Two weeks ago, the ‘Parent Trap’ actress went on a Twitter rant claiming her fiance was cheating on her with her pal Dasha Pashevkina, who she later apologized to after police were called following a furious row between them in London.
Lohan shares in the interview that she needed closure because she genuinely loved Egor. She was ready to settle down and have a family with him. The ‘Liz and Dick’ star said that she and Egor have already talked about having four kids.
