Typical with a high-profile celebrity couple, 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) lead vocalist Luke Hemmings and his girlfriend Arzaylea have become the subject of countless rumors ever since they admitted late last year that they are dating.
Unfortunately for the pair, most of the rumors involving them are negative because fans of 5SOS and Arzaylea went off to a rough start.
They felt that Arzaylea was taking away Luke Hemmings from them because she keeps on acting like a real girlfriend when she should have limited her involvement with the 5SOS lead vocalist especially when the band is on their concert gigs.
But Luke Hemmings proves that his affection for Arzaylea is not just fleeting and a passing thing. He has recently come out to defend his social media influencer – girlfriend from her social media bashers and even asking one of them to remove all the hate in her thoughts.
Lately, the two have been both subjected to cheating rumors. Initially, it was Arzaylea who was accused by fans of Luke Hemmings and 5SOS of sleeping with John Waugh of 1975. Subsequently, it was Luke who was rumored to have slept with a woman and their photo in bed was even posted on social media.
But it seems that the two have finally decided not to believe the rumors but just themselves. They were recently spotted in Toronto, Canada a few weeks ago.
Interestingly, the two were together when Luke Hemmings marked his 20th birthday. Contrary to rumors that they are merely faking their relationship, they seem to get stronger as time goes by, notes Hall of Fame Magazine.
In fact, during his 20th birthday, Luke made his relationship with Arzaylea official on Instagram and no longer like before when they used to make it less hidden from the public.
A social media addict
Critics believe that it is the trait of Arzaylea for being a social media addict that has been causing her trouble for the fans of Luke Hemmings and 5SOS.
Her being a social media addict often results to Arzaylea posting so many pictures of herself in the company of Luke and the 5SOS band members including Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin.
To many fans, it is not the way to go because it makes them feel inferior and less important to their idols so Arzaylea had to take them down often times, notes the Inquisitr.
The social media arguments often erupt when fans make their comments on her posts and most of them are negative and she also fires back. Critics believe that the best way for her to avoid confrontation with fans is to just keep herself away from social media because that is where most of her troubles begin.
Not bothered by the cheating rumors
With the sighting of Luke and Arzalyea in Toronto, Canada a few weeks ago, it seems that the pair is not bothered at all by the cheating rumors thrown on each other and consider those as attempts of some people to tear them apart.
It appears that they have survived yet again another onslaught of malicious cheating rumors so it only makes their relationship stronger than before.
Of the two, however, it is Arzaylea who has been the subject of many controversies following the admission of Luke Hemmings in an interview late last year that they are dating.
Some have accused her of faking the relationship with Luke for media mileage to herself because she is known online as a publicity hog. She was also accused as the main reason why the lead vocalist of 5SOS came late before a show in Tokyo, Japan.
