Those of you that are fans of the popular television show called The Blacklist will not be able to watch anymore episodes until Super Bowl Sunday. That does not mean, however, that you cannot read up on the show and see interviews as the main actors make their ways around the talk show circuit. The show started back in September of 2013 and NBC has not looked back ever since. At first the show did not have a full first season, but that changed very quickly once NBC noticed the ratings.
Once the first season was about to complete, the network renewed The Blacklist for a second season, which will consist of 22 full episodes. Main characters are played by actors like James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Ryan Eggold and Amir Arison rounding out the list. There are plenty of recurring characters so far throughout the first season and most of them are expected to repeat in season 2.
The show was getting great reviews all over the place and that include an 82% on Rotten Tomatoes and an overall rating of 7 out of 10. Right from the get-go the show made you think you knew what was going to happen, but a twist comes quickly and legitimately throwing your thoughts right out the window. Each episode since the first has followed a similar path.
As the main actors make their way around to the talk shows, the same question keeps coming up and there is always a good answer for it. When Boone is asked about a certain relationship in the show, the answer has always been that the viewers would find out when the show “has concluded”. The guess is that she has been asked that so many times that she has crafted the perfect answer for it. Also for the second season there will be new writers and directors that take over writing the story and revealing hints along the way.
According to one online source, there will be a new villain character that shows up on the Super Bowl Sunday episode. According to reports, actor Ron Perlman has been added to the list for that show and he will play a character that is a thief that plans international heists over an extended period of time. The Blacklist is also about to reveal some dramatic twists in terms of spoilers, but if you do not want to know before the season starts you should stay away from the internet.
