‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7 Episode 4 Marked the Return of Jenna Plus A.D.’s Reveal!

“Pretty Little Liars” is delivering on its promise to fans that all questions will be answered in the final season. Last week, it was revealed that the body the Liars were burying was that of Allison’s estranged husband, Elliot.

Hanna accidentally hit Dr. Rollins with Lucas’ car when they were trying to escape from him. This was after Ali ran away from rehab after finding out that Elliot is drugging her to keep her there for as long as possible.

The girls then hatch a plan to get Ali back into her room at the mental hospital before anyone else notices. They also placed Elliott’s jacket and cellphone on a train to Delaware to make it appear as if he’s skipped town.

This week, fans were treated to more intense moments as it saw the much-awaited return of Tammin Sursok’s Jenna. Before the Season 7 premiere, it was already reported that Sursok will reprise her role.

Tensions were also rising between the girls as Spencer tries her best to avoid Caleb after feeling that Caleb still has feelings for Hanna and the latter obviously still loves Caleb.

Caleb then reveals to Spencer that he’s been offered a job in San Francisco, but he did not accept it because he still wanted to give their relationship a chance.

Speaking of Hanna, she finally came clean, at least to Mona, about her broken engagement. Aria was also constantly wondering how closely the hotel surveillance system was capturing her every move.

Another twist in this week’s episode was upon returning to Welby, Alison finally revealed to Aria what really happened the night Charlotte was killed.

Ali said she had an argument with her sister in the church about Elliot. Ali says she left her there to stew in her own anger and that she didn’t kill her.

The next morning, the Liars, including Mona, met at The Radley. Mona says she knew about Lucas’ car because she was actually tracking Elliot.

She says she was suspicious of the doctor, but needed something to prove it. Well, it obviously takes a former big bad to know one. Mona then says they need to find Elliot’s burner phone to know what he was up to.

Spencer is certain that Mary Drake is Elliot’s accomplice. That’s when Jenna made her much-awaited return. Thanks to Aria’s voice, Jenna, who was apparently still blind, stops by their table and realizes that the whole gang is there.

Jenna explains that she’s back in town to celebrate Toby’s engagement. However, Toby is not that excited upon seeing his step-sister outside the police station. Jenna insists that she wants to make amends now that Toby is starting his own family.

Well, that might not be the truth as Toby pointed out that he tried doing that some three years ago and it didn’t go well.

Amid Jenna’s return, the biggest surprise of the episode came from Toby, whose investigation finally yielded results.

Aria and Emily were on their way to the mental institution to visit Ali when they see cops, including Toby, are inside.

Toby then met up with Spencer, Aria, and Emily and reveals that Elliot is a fraud. It turns out that Elliot’s real name was Archer Dunhill a.k.a. A.D.

He’s been impersonating a 72-year-old doctor who died of a stroke 15 years ago. Toby informs the girls that Archer is now missing and the girls stay quiet which Toby senses. He later warns them that the truth will always come out.

Meanwhile, Mona and Hanna are in their own mission leaving them out of the loop on Toby’s news. They break into Elliott’s car at the train station to look for the gold bracelet she lost. They find the bracelet and they also found a phone.
