Wayward Pines Season 2, Episode 7: Who Will Be Killed Off from the Show? Let’s See

It’s been tense for fans of “Wayward Pines”, as the show is supposedly about to kill off one of its major characters – after just going through a rather deadly recent period, too. We’ve been getting some insight into the capabilities of the Abberations too, after they set fire to the town’s food, and the show has been portraying them in a more and more sinister light in general.

According to reports, the female Abbie will use her ability to communicate with other Abberations to draw even more of them to her location, while on the other hand the townsfolk will have to deal with a short supply of food and the possibility of starving out. Still, it’s possible that the team might be able to change her mind – perhaps with some unusual convincing techniques – and decide to call off the attack, but that doesn’t seem very likely given her position and overall attitude.

Who will be the main character to get killed off in episode 7? There are plenty of possibilities, and of course the producers would never spoil that surprise before the actual air date, so fans have been spending quite a lot of time discussing their theories on the Internet. It’s suspected that whoever is set to die, their death will have something to do with the attempt to communicate with the leader of the Abberations.

Theo and Megan are the main subjects of most theories, as a preview for the episode revealed that they will have a discussion about the capabilities of the Abberations, and how they can be communicated with. It’s possible that their attempts will lead them to an unpleasant end, although it’s just as likely that the producers are purposefully misleading their fans into believing that, while the answer is something slightly less obvious.

The show has been taking on a darker and more mysterious tone in general throughout season 2, and fans definitely don’t seem to mind judging by their reactions online. Some apparently expected this kind of setting from “Wayward Pines” from the very beginning, and are glad that the show is just now starting to catch up with their initial expectations for it.

At least we’ll likely find out who’s right between Theo and Megan in their ongoing argument about the Abbies, although it doesn’t seem like the conclusion of that discussion will have a positive impact on anyone involved. Is the decision to attempt communicating with the Abbie leader cause even more deaths?

It’s worth noting that Theo has already been mentioned in summaries for future episodes, so things aren’t looking very well for Megan. As we said above, it’s possible that death might choose to let her go in this episode, but we are not sure if her character is coming back for now, looking at future episode summaries.

The writers of this show definitely aren’t afraid to take risks in terms of killing off characters and rearranging their cast, and this is actually one of the main drawing points for many people. This has allowed the show to stay relatively fresh in terms of characters, something which many TV series tend to struggle with eventually.

But of course, “Wayward Pines” is still in a relatively young stage, and it has a long way to go. It will be interesting to see how the show progresses and what kinds of other changes the producers may decide to implement eventually. We’ve already seen the tone of the episodes changing a bit over time, and it’s possible that they might decide to take it even further.
