Pokemon GO Coming in July, Are You Ready to Catch ‘Em All? Let’s See

With the release of “Pokemon GO” approaching fast, players have been eager to get their hands on the game and experience it in an all-new format. There has been a lot of talk about the title, and it looks like a lot of work has gone into polishing the game to fine levels of detail, so hopefully it will live up to all the hype that it’s enjoying right now.

As for the players themselves, those planning to dig into “Pokemon GO” when it launches should prepare themselves by reading up on their favorite Pokemon, and revisiting the old tactics that were popular in the previous games. It’s very likely that we’ll have to learn many new things from scratch for “Pokemon GO”, but some things never change and it’s always important to have good knowledge about the Pokemon Universe.

Just like before, there will be a strong emphasis on catching and training Pokemon, and ultimately using them against other players in combat. Catching Pokemon will work like in the previous games, requiring players to visit certain locations of the in-game world in order to get access to them. Combined with the new style of gameplay which has players walking all over their local area, this should lead to some interesting moments.

Some publications are reporting unusual details, however – such as that fire Pokemon will be obtainable close to volcanoes in real life. While that makes sense from a gameplay point of view, not many players would have the opportunity to catch those Pokemon if that’s the only option, which could create some interesting situations. Could certain Pokemon become extremely rare based on just their geographical location alone? The developers of the game must have put some extra thought into that, so it will be interesting to see how the problem is tackled.

In addition, it won’t be necessary to have a mobile device on hand at all time in order to keep playing the game. There are talks about a special standalone device called the Pokemon GO Plus, which will allow players to stay in the game at all time no matter where they are, but details on it are not yet clear.

It’s also worth noting that the game will apparently be released in stages, as not all features will be ready for the first version. Players will have to wait for everything to be fully implemented, but it’s not yet clear what the schedule for the additional content looks like. It’s possible that we may see everything integrated into the game within a few months from its release, but the studio might also decide to take everything at a slower pace in order to maintain interest in the game at a high level. Hopefully, if they decide to go with the latter idea, they won’t delay things too long.

It’s a good year to be a “Pokemon” fan in general, as more titles are coming as well, although players will have to wait until November to get their hands on them. This revival of the franchise has been received very positively by its old school fans, and it looks like Nintendo could be in a very good spot to see some solid profits if they play their cards right. There is certainly a huge opportunity to draw new people into the franchise, while there is no shortage of old fans either.
