Galaxy S7 Edge deals

While the Samsung Galaxy S7 is being given away as a prize in a promo contest for Opera Mini, its companion smartphone, the bigger Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is now being offered on various deals.

It is likely a strategy of the Korean tech giant to keep buyer interest especially with the forthcoming release of the Apple iPhone 7.

The Galaxy S7 Edge is a lot better than the Galaxy S6 Edge according to most critics because it is bigger and there are plenty of reasons why users should pick it over the smaller Galaxy S7, reports Tech Radar.

Critics think it is the perfect size for those who are willing to go for the big smartphone screen but does not have the big hands to match it. The smartphone is curved nicely into the chassis making it easier to grasp and hold.

The site also listed major ongoing deals on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge as well as its predecessors, the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

Better control of the Always On Display

The Always On Display functionality of flagship smartphones is actually a novel idea as users will be able to check the time and notifications simply by looking at their handset’s display even when it is turned off.

Samsung took the feature to another level when it released the latest update for its current flagship, the Galaxy S7, that allowed users to have more control of the use of the Always On Display app, notes the Android Authority.

The latest update also allows for time settings, which means that it can be set to automatically turn off after going to sleep.

Since the release of the Korean tech giant’s Galaxy S7 in March, some users have also noticed the device’s irregular battery life issues whenever Always On Display app is being used. The app is supposed to use only a very small amount of battery power.

Or they can opt to enter Settings menu, select Display, then Always On Display, before scrolling to the bottom of the list and select About and find the update there as well.
