Mobile browser Opera Mini is intensifying its campaign to increase its user base among Android smartphone users.
Opera Mini and Android Central have recently teamed up in order to promote the use of the mobile web browsers on Android smartphones.
All users need to do is to try out the latest version of the Opera Mini, which shall come with a fully integrated ad blocker that gives them the opportunity to enjoy a faster browsing experience. The new mobile browser will also allow them to experience the internet without the usual and annoying advertisements, notes the Android Central.
The Android smartphone users just need to submit a screenshot of their data savings on Opera Mini for Android using the hashtag #browsefaster and they will get themselves an opportunity to win a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 for the major prize winner and Opera + Android Central swag for the three runners-up.
The promo began on June 1 and shall be on for a period of 14 days or until June 14 and is open to all people where such contest is legal, which means that it is on even outside the US.
However, for those who are residing outside of the US, the winning prize may be subjected to customs fees and taxes, which shall be shouldered by the winner.
Galaxy S7 Edge deals
While the Samsung Galaxy S7 is being given away as a prize in a promo contest for Opera Mini, its companion smartphone, the bigger Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is now being offered on various deals.
It is likely a strategy of the Korean tech giant to keep buyer interest especially with the forthcoming release of the Apple iPhone 7.
The Galaxy S7 Edge is a lot better than the Galaxy S6 Edge according to most critics because it is bigger and there are plenty of reasons why users should pick it over the smaller Galaxy S7, reports Tech Radar.

Better control of the Always On Display

For the users of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and they wanted to get the update on the Always On Display app, they can simply enter the Samsung Galaxy Apps store using their Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge. They can then navigate to My Apps, click on the Update and install it.
Or they can opt to enter Settings menu, select Display, then Always On Display, before scrolling to the bottom of the list and select About and find the update there as well.
