The Elder Scrolls 6 to Have the Same Settlement Setting as the Fallout 4 DLC, New Rumors Say!

Fans of the role-playing game “The Elder Scrolls 6” got disappointed when reports came out last month saying that the game would not be launched at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 to be held in Los Angeles next month.

After game developer Bethesda Studios kept “The Elder Scrolls 6” from the limelight at the E3 2015, gamers were expecting to finally see the game being unraveled in this year’s event.

It could be recalled that one Bethesda official was actually quoted as saying during the E3 2015 that “The Elder Scrolls 6” shall have the E3 2016 all to itself as far as Bethesda is concerned since the game developer launched at least four games in last year’s event, highlighted by the post-apocalyptic role-playing game “Fallout 4.”

According to the latest rumors, “The Elder Scrolls 6” shall most likely come out next year and that the game shall possibly have the same settlement setting as the April DLC of “Fallout 4” known as “Wasteland Workshop.”

While many “Fallout 4” gamers were not at all fascinated with the “Wasteland Workshop” DLC, the settlement buildings and workshop for the game could possibly be a good inclusion and ideal for “The Elder Scrolls 6,” reports Yibada.

Too complex for the game

The settlement buildings and workshop for “Fallout 4” are too complex that gamers spend much of their time altering their wasteland settlement. Some gamers of “The Elder Scrolls 6” however, believe that the setting shall serve no purpose to the game.

But in the event that “The Elder Scrolls 6” comes out with regions that are torn apart by war, players could help the people to resettle deserted towns.

There are also reports saying that “The Elder Scrolls 6” may commence in an isolated area where establishing new towns is more rational.

Bethesda has recently placed a job listing on its website for the position of a character artist who shall reportedly be working on the game development company’s next-generation video game project.

Rumors have it that the job listing might just be one of the positions Bethesda is looking to fill since the company is said to be working on multiple projects which necessitate the gathering of a pool of talents where the company can just draw from, cites the Ecumenical News.

Focusing more on the online version of the game

It seems that the main reason why Bethesda Studios is deferring the unveiling of “The Elder Scrolls 6” is because it still wants to focus on the development of the DLC for the profitable online multiplayer version of the game – “The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.”

It can be recalled that “The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited” was officially released by Bethesda on June 9 last year, about a week before the E3 2015.

Suddenly, the DLC game pack for the online multiplayer game, officially called as “The Dark Brotherhood” will be released on the PC and the Mac on May 31 while it would be released on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on June 14 or on the actual date itself of the E3 2016.

It would not be strategic for Bethesda Studios to release the new DLC for “The Elder Scrolls Online” at the E3 2016 and then officially unveil “The Elder Scrolls 6” on the same event because one would surely steal the thunder from the other.

Incidentally, Bethesda has announced late last month that players can already download the public test server of “The Elder Scrolls Online.”

Elder Scrolls 6

The silence of Bethesda Studios regarding updates to “The Elder Scrolls 6” has already been deafening that the rumors and murmurs in the gaming community about the highly-anticipated game emanate mostly from gamers and critics.

Although Bethesda has yet to confirm or deny the latest rumors going around the grapevine, previous reports had it that “The Elder Scrolls 6” shall be launched during the E3 2016.

The previous rounds of speculations were pieced together by some critics based on a previous interview with Bethesda game director Todd Howard.
