Brand New Apple iPod Touch Coming in Spring 2015!

Apple has been on the top of the mobile device list for a long time. This holiday shopping season it going to prove what the numbers have shown the entire time. There is a new version of the iPod Touch coming next spring and it will have just enough new features to make you think about upgrading if you are sitting there with the 5th generation iPod Touch. Apple initially wanted the 6th generation to be in stores this September, but that did not happen.

Apple was not happy with plans they had for releasing it that early, according to reports, so now the release date has been moved to early 2015. The very first iPod was released back in 2007 with the first iPhone. Since then it had seen plenty of options and features added bringing it to be one of the most popular handheld music devices of all time. Now you can get the iPod Touch 5 with 64GB of storage for just $299. The brand new version of the iPod Touch is going to have some impressive features and should be in stores by March 2015.

Features for the 6th generation iPod Touch will reportedly include a display larger than 5-inches, A6 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, 8MP camera on the backside with a smaller 1.5MP camera on the front side, and up to 128GB of internal storage. With 128GB of internal memory, you could store thousands of your music and video files for everyday enjoyment. The iPod Touch will also be available in blue, green, light grey, pink, dark grey, red and orange in case you do not want the typical colored mobile gadget.

Advanced technology will also be installed on the iPod Touch. The NFC technology behind a lot of the mobile payment features will be included and that will play very nicely with the brand new Apple Pay feature that Apple just rolled out with the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphones. The iPod will also be able to connect to open Wi-Fi networks and to bluetooth 4.0 devices. Apple released the new iPhone with an organic radical battery to allow for fewer charges and there is a good chance that the iPod Touch will feature the same.

On the software side of things, the iPod Touch will come with iOS 8 pre-installed and that means you will be able to use Apple’s virtual assistant, Siri to get your searching done. If you are thinking of buying the brand new iPod Touch next spring, you can expect to pay up to $400 if you want it with 64GB of internal memory, even more for 128GB.
