The 12th season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” opened with a bang and a whole lot of family drama.
The episode focused on Khloe’s preparation for Lamar Odom’s hospital release while juggling her New York City press tour.
The season premiere also highlighted Kim’s settling into her new role as a mom of two, and Kourtney adjusts to life without Scott Disick.
The season premiere of “KUWTK” also showed Scott purchasing a new place closer to Kourtney and their three kids Mason, Penelope, and Aston.
Khloe visited Scott in his new home and he tells her that he’s so lonely living alone in a huge house. He also tells Khloe that she’s not looking for a girlfriend.
The highlight of the episode, however, was between Khloe and Caitlyn Jenner. Halfway through the premiere, the 31-year-old reality star is off on her press tour in NYC for her new book “Strong Looks Better Naked.”
Kardashian then receives a string of angry text messages from Caitlyn Jenner concerning an interview.
Khloe had gone on the “Howard Stern Show” a few months back and talked about her issues with Caitlyn’s transformation.
In January, she opened up on the “Howard Stern Show” how Bruce had continually denied he was transitioning despite mounting media speculation and admitted to feeling completely betrayed after finding out first about it at a business meeting.
Khloe was obviously shocked with Caitlyn’s messages saying that the 66-year-old was out of line considering she had spoken disparagingly about her marriage to Kris, after transitioning last year.
The blonde beauty then calls her mom Kris and tells her that she’s done with Caitlyn and she doesn’t have a relationship with her anymore.
Later in the episode, Kris attempts to iron things out between her daughter and ex and calls Caitlyn, but it doesn’t go the way she wanted it to and ended up crying over the phone. The 60-year-old momager tells her ex that she should give Khloe a break.
Despite Caitlyn’s anger, Khloe insists that she didn’t say anything inappropriate during the interview.
Kim Kardashian says that her sister and Caitlyn are still on the outs and it looks like it might take a while before they patch up their relationship.
Mirror UK notes that Khloe hasn’t posted a photo with her former stepdad on her social media accounts since February when the whole Kardashian-Jenner family attended Kanye West’s Yeezy 3 fashion launch in New York.
Aside from the Caitlyn drama, Khloe also had to be there for her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, who was recovering from his near-fatal overdose back in October.
Khloe asked the help of her mom to step in and prepare the place Odom will stay at to recuperate as she will be away for her press tour in New York.
The 36-year-old former NBA star was hospitalized after being discovered unconscious at a brothel in Nevada a few months ago. He was in a coma and placed on life support for a few days before regaining consciousness.
Khloe and Lamar married in 2009 after a month of dating. In December 2013, after months of speculations, Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom and legal restoration of her last name.
In the aftermath of Lamar’s incident, the former couple decided to call off their divorce. Khloe explained that they have not decided to give their relationship another shot, but had withdrawn it so that she might assist him in making medical decisions during his recovery.
According to Daily Mail, Khloe is now busy with her latest project, a campaign for her new denim brand, The GA Project. Reports say that the jeans under the brand are mostly designed by Kardashian.
