‘Tekken 7’ Might Possibly Come Out on PlayStation 4 Already Capable of Supporting VR Technology!

After unveiling the fighting game “Tekken 7” on the arcades in Japan early last year, Japanese game developer Bandai Namco announced that it would eventually be unveiling the version of the game for the PlayStation 4.

The game shall also exclusively come out on the PlayStation 4 and hence, there will be no version on Microsoft’s Xbox One.

However, more than a year already from the time Bandai Namco made that announcement that thrilled gamers of Sony’s current generation gaming console almost to no end, there is still no sight nor a word about the release of “Tekken 7” on the PS4.

Instead, the developer announced that a variant of the fighting game called “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” will be coming again to the arcades in Japan in July this year.

There were reports late last year that the PS4 version of “Tekken 7” might come out either in the second or third quarter of this year.

Not coming out in the PSX event

In fact, it is the reason why speculations have become rife that “Tekken 7” might use the PlayStation Experience (PSX) event in the second half of this year as the springboard for its launching to the Sony’s current generation gaming console, notes Crossmap.

Launching and releasing the game at the PSX would be a strategic move for Bandai Namco since the event is a gaming event where thousands of people and PS4 gamers gather to get the latest about the gaming world.

However, Harada himself denied the speculations that “Tekken 7” PS4 version would come out at the PSX. But he did not explain the reason why nor disclosed any detail as to when the game would finally come out on the PlayStation 4.

But if there’s something that has greatly added enthusiasm and excitement to the arrival of “Tekken 7,” it is the reports that say that when the game comes out it will also be able to have VR support on the PlayStation 4.

Bringing back the ‘Tekken Bowl’ gameplay mode

Incidentally, the fighting game “Tekken 7” has started rolling out to North American video game arcades through a tour beginning last month.

Since April 1, the game is being made available by Japanese developer Bandai Namco in various conventions across North America. It was first made available during the Wizard World convention held at St. Louis.

It has been reported early in 2015 that Bandai Namco will be bringing “Tekken 7” exclusively on the PlayStation 4 although a release date has yet to be announced as of this time.

According to some reports, “Tekken 7” shall bring back the ‘Tekken Bowl’ gameplay mode and enable players on the PS4 to fight online through the PlayStation Network.

The upcoming game will feature a new online multiplayer mode so that players can easily find other gamers online and start a fight. But Bandai Namco has yet to state a release date for such update as well.

As there is no official announcement yet on “Tekken 7,” Bandai Namco announced early this year the latest iteration to its popular fighting video game “Tekken” officially titled “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” which would come out in the video game arcades in Japan in July this year.

While the developer did not say exactly its intention for announcing “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” early this year and its likely release to the arcades later this year, critics believe that it was meant to quench gamer thirst for the console version of “Tekken 7.”

There are also reports that a new character on “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” will be borrowed from the “Street Fighter” video game and it is no other than Akuma.

However, most of the fighting characters of “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” were the ones from “Tekken 6” including Katarina Alves, Josie Rizal, Claudio Sefarino, and Lucky Chloe. There will also be Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, and Yoshimitsu, details the Vine Report.
