After being through an on-again, off-again romance since 2012, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are officially off now and it has been over six months since their amicable split in October last year.
In those nearly three years of relationship whose courtship and dating phase started during the filming of “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 2011, Emma and Andrew have broken up a couple of times but managed to find their way into each other’s arms eventually.
Last year, they broke up in March only to get back together again in May. Some four months later, they broke up again. It’s been six months since that split and no word is going around whether they have gotten back together again by this time or still not.
But six months is rather a long time for the length of the split of the two since they became a couple back in 2012. Their past breakups have not gone over six months so it would be interesting to find out if the current split will finally break the record.
Rekindling of romance still a possibility
This could mean two things for the couple. The first one is the sad reality that both have already moved on from one another. The second one is that both do not have enough time to spend with the other.
Fans of ‘Stonefield’ believe that it is reason No. 2 and they all nurture hopes that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield will still get back together again sooner than later.

Instead of getting piqued at the paparazzi, the two made signs on napkins that acknowledged the paparazzi but took the opportunity to plug in some charity and non-profit organizations including the World Wide Orphans Foundation and a community for those with cancer called the Gildas Club NYC.
As a result, the napkin signs served a greater purpose than any paparazzi picture could ever have. The pair even wished the photographers a great day.
Although they have already broken up, reports have it that the two still have a lot of love and respect for one another.
According to an insider, both Andrew and Emma are on good terms with each other and remain close. They have just decided to separate because their relationship was not working.
