HTC has been on a roll recently with brand new smartphones on the market and even though many could take the company and leave it behind others like Apple, Samsung and LG, it has been able to hold its own in a very tough smartphone industry. The brand new HTC One M9 is expected to be on the market very soon. According to at least one online source, it could be released by March of next year. This would be a new version of the One handset even though the M8 is still very fresh.
The HTC One M9 is not the final name of course, as some are expecting that it might even be changed to the HTC One M10 by the time March is here. Most refer to it as the One M9 and that it is going to be the pinnacle of smartphones on the market today. The most changed feature of any smartphone on the market today is the camera.
Since HTC starting listening to the loyal customers that buy the products from them, it is expected that the camera and the overall design are going to be finished products of long wish lists. Since the HTC One M9 is expected to be released with the Samsung Galaxy S6, the feature list is expected to be comparable. Besides Samsung, HTC will also have to compete with the recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in order to stay above the rest of the field.
For right now, it looks like the HTC One M9 is expected to come with at least a 5.1-inch display that has a 2560×1440 resolution, super fast Snapdragon 810 processor and Android 5.0 pre-loaded. With a display up to 5.5-inches, the phone could offer a pixel density of a whopping 534ppi, which would easily put it right at the top of the list in that category. The device is also expected to come with a 13MP camera on the back side, packed with up to 128GB of memory and could even sport 3GB of RAM.
Besides the phone being the perfect size at just over 5-inches, it will come with plenty of on board storage and should be one of the fastest phones on the market next March when it gets released. The camera on the front side has been rumored at up to 5MP in size, which would be completely insane compared to other phones on the market today. If HTC wants to compete with the bigger names in the smartphone industry, they are going to have to keep the camera, display and software up to date with the trends. After looking at what to expect from the HTC One M9, it does not seem to be a problem at all.
