But first, the big question – when is it coming? Most people expect Apple to announce the machine at the WWDC in June, but there are also rumors that they might rush it out of the door a bit earlier. With that in mind, some see a touchscreen as a very viable addition to the design of the MacBook Pro 2016, and a detachable keyboard may not be too far-fetched if that’s true either. The system is already known for being focused on boosting the user’s potential for getting work done, after all.

There are rumors that a new MacBook Air is coming along with the new version of the Pro line, so that could further add to the credibility of the above claims. Some have also been looking at the situation from the opposite direction, claiming that Apple should look into consolidating some of their product lines in order to be more efficient on the market. It doesn’t really seem like this is in their plans right now though, as the company is more focused on spreading their brand name as much as possible, a strategy that is somewhat different from their previous “niche” approach.
