Early this month, rumors and speculations started going around that the seventh season of the American reality TV series “Sister Wives” is in danger of being cancelled because the three spiritual wives of the polygamist family patriarch Kody are already planning to leave him for good.
There were even reports then saying that each of the three spiritual wives already have their respective one foot out of the door of the polygamist set-up since Kody is spending more of his time with his fourth but married wife Robyn Sullivan.
Meri was said to have decided to leave Kody for good after she was caught ‘catfishing’ late last year and it turned out that the ploy was an attempt of a woman to pry as much information from her about the polygamist family.
There was also Janelle who seems to be enjoying her work already as a realtor that she was already ready to leave Kody and the polygamous relationship.
Pales in comparison
All those rumors pale in comparison to the bomb dropped very recently by Kristyn Decker, the aunt of Christine Brown.
According to Decker, the TLC TV series is fake, and all the drama created within the Brown family are scripted. She has since been spilling the beans to the media about the bogus show.
She said that she has decided to expose the sham that is “Sister Wives” because she was concerned with her niece who is really miserable getting spiritually married to Kody, reports MNR Daily.
Kristyn also dropped a second bomb when she said that the polygamist family decided to move to Las Vegas from Utah not because it wanted to escape and circumvent the anti-polygamy law but because TLC wanted to perk up the ratings of “Sister Wives.”
Because of the expose made by Kristyn, reports have it that TLC was so humiliated by the disclosure that it has reportedly decided on cancelling the show for good.
However, it remains as speculations as of this time until TLC makes the official announcement to either proceed with the Season 7 of “Sister Wives” or cancel it for good.
Back as a happy polygamist family
As if to offset the rampaging tide of dissension among its loyal viewers amid reports that the TV series is fake and scripted, Janelle recently came out to say that the family has already resolved the issues that have been hounding it over the past couple of months.
Janelle recently posted a photo of her son, Hunter, carrying his new baby sister Ariella Mae, who happens to be Kody’s youngest daughter with Robyn.
The photos and its corresponding captions only imply that the Brown family is back as a happy polygamist family after resolving whatever issues that have been hounding them since late last year.
It was also discovered that Meri was not just a victim of catfishing scandal, she really had an affair with another man and the relationship started online.
But Meri clarified that she was just looking for a little attention online because having to share a husband with three other women is quite difficult for her.
It turns out that she was having an affair with a guy named Samuel Cooper, who also confirmed the relationship. He also said that it was he who broke up the affair because of the unwanted attention he was getting for dating a reality TV star.
Meri was ready to part ways with Kody, but when Kody and Meri had a heart-to-heart talk, they decided to stay together and keep the polygamist family intact, notes Movie News Guide.
However, Meri may have the right reasons to leave the show especially when Jackie Overton, the catfisher who duped her during Season 6, recently released the book “Almost Meri’d” which revealed her disappointing relationship with Kody.
Overton is reportedly planning to publicize Meri’s confidential voice messages between them.

I hope the show is cancelled. I personally don’t care how they life their life. I just feel that the children are hurt more by polygamy. The children have no choice on who their parents are or what their parents do in the bedroom. This show is so scripted. They are not happy. The women are jealous of each other. Kody is no prize. These women need to get a backbone and leave this lifestyle. Polygamy is emotionally abusive to women and children. TLC should cancel this show before it destroys what they have left.
When the program is cancelled there will be plenty of finger pointing and blame within the family. The truth is that people just don’t like Robyn and Kody. Kody has exposed the ugly underbelly of Polygamist life to America for personal monetary gain. He and Warren Jeffs have brought shame to the movement that can never be undone.
The Brown clan is not prepared for the cancellation, consequently it is going to be traumatic and devastating. It’s unimaginable the troubles coming their way. I wish the show would have gone on for at least a couple of more years for the sake of the many children.
