Fallout 4 Automatron DLC Comes Out to Strong Responses, Raising Fan Hopes!

When Bethesda first revealed their plans for the DLC for “Fallout 4”, they were met with some skepticism. Some fans were disappointed by the apparent lack of originality and variety in the new content, while others commented on the seemingly high price on packs like “Automatron”. The way these add-ons were described made them seem very limited indeed – but now that the first pack has been out for a while, fans seem to have completely changed their minds and everyone is happy with the way things have turned out.

In “Automatron”, the main focus is on building robot companions. Players will get to scavenge for parts and combine them into the perfect assistant for their needs, creating all sorts of different robots with various strengths. And while fans expected the DLC to be limited to the robot-building aspect, it actually offers more content, including things to explore and do around the “Fallout 4” world.

Of course, the main focus is still actually on the robots, but the DLC offers a lot more for its asking price. At this point, most players seem happy with what they’re getting for the cost of the content package, and some are even curious to see how much they are going to get in the next DLCs if Bethesda keep up the pace.

The story of the new DLC has also been described as interesting and well-written by most players, especially considering the fact that most didn’t even expect anything special in terms of a story from the DLC in the first place. There is also a nice, long dungeon for gamers to explore, and according to some critics it will actually take some time to get to the end of it, so players should prepare accordingly.

Above all though, the DLC does a great job with its main theme, building robots. Many players have been praising the variety of content in this regard, and some are apparently even surprised by how much Bethesda have achieved with this package. It’s clear that the studio has put a lot more thought into this than players initially gave them credit for, and they’re not trying to milk this franchise in cheap ways.

Which is definitely reassuring, because the next DLCs for “Fallout 4” could have an even bigger potential if they’re done in a similar style. Players are already speculating about what they are going to see once they roll out, and there are also speculations that Bethesda might be planning a lot more content in the future than they are letting on right now.

The initial release of the game was met with some mixed responses, as it didn’t quite manage to live up to the hype that some players had built up in their heads for it. “Fallout 4” has lots of strong points and there’s no denying that, but it took some time for most players to fully realize this and accept it.

It’s also interesting to think about how this release could be indicative of what players should expect from the next game in the “Elder Scrolls” franchise once Bethesda are ready to present that. Players have never really stopped speculating about that franchise, and the longer we go without any announcements about it, the more anxious everyone seems to be getting. But judging by the way the studio is handling “Fallout 4”, we can only expect good things from their other franchises as well.
