‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Episode 14 to Feature the Death of Denise from a Crossbow

Since the mid-season premiere of Season 6 of the American holocaust survival horror drama series “The Walking Dead” on February 14 on AMC, fans of the series have been bombarded with apprehensions on who among the show’s major characters will perish in the second half.

The speculations on the possible major character deaths were actually triggered by an interview with actor Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes in “The Walking Dead,” while the show was on its mid-season break.

Back then, Lincoln said that the second half of Season 6 of “The Walking Dead” is going to be the darkest yet for the show and that there will be plenty of character deaths.

So when the show had its mid-season premiere and it featured the deaths of Jessie and her two sons, fans kind of knew and expected that there would be more.

For a while, they thought that episode 13 that was aired on March 13 would feature the death of either Maggie or Carol but it never happened as the two survived being captured by three female Saviors and another injured male.

Not only did Maggie and Carol escaped captivity, they killed them all including those additional members of Saviors who were supposed to rendezvous with their colleagues.

With three episodes remaining in Season 6 of “The Walking Dead,” fans are eagerly awaiting and anticipating the next character deaths before Negan comes out.

The next character death

Fans need not wait that long as reports have it that the upcoming episode 14 to air on March 20 shall feature a character death in the TV series. However, most of the fans should be happy to know that it is not going to be a major character, reports Design & Trend.

According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, the next character death in “The Walking Dead” is Alexandria surgeon, Denise Cloyd. She is the girlfriend of Tara and their short-lived relationship is about to come to a bloody end on the next episode.

Based on the spoilers, Denise will die through a crossbow to the head and in “The Walking Dead,” the weapon is identified with Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus. The weapon was last seen during the sixth episode of the show when it was taken by Dwight and his crew of strangers from Daryl.

It is possible that Dwight might have pulled the trigger and killed Denise but that remains to be seen on episode 14. Denise will have her untimely demise while she, Rosita, and Daryl were looking for medicine and they came across Dwight with a large group of Saviors. Because he has been betrayed by Dwight in the past, Daryl wants revenge and it was during their scuffle that Denise will get hit by an arrow from the crossbow.

Based on the comic book series, Dwight will come out in episode 14 looking very different because his face has been burned in a disgusting way using an iron by Negan apparently because of his failure to get Daryl previously.

Getting darker

Episode 13 of “The Walking Dead” showed how dark two of the major characters – Maggie and Carol – have become after all that they have been through.

After being captured by four Saviors led by Paula, played by Alicia Witt, Maggie and Carol were brought to an abandoned factory where they were held captive as their captors await the arrival of their companions for reinforcements.

Paula also put on hold the trade that Rick proposed to free Carol and Maggie in exchange for one of their colleagues.

It was during their captivity that the strength of Carol came out. Her shift from a once dependent mother and survivor of abuse to a ruthless killer is arguably the strongest character arc of “The Walking Dead.” So her acting weak initially was just a ploy because eventually, she resorted to her dark side and turned the tables on all of their captors.
