‘Sister Wives’ Season 7 Still Up in the Air as Spin-Off Series Makes the Rumor Mills!

With previous reports that Meri Brown wants out of the polygamist family in the American reality TV series “Sister Wives,” there are now rumors and speculations going around the internet that Season 7 of the show on TLC would no longer happen.

According to the same rumors, in the place of “Sister Wives” Season 7 will be a new spinoff series that shall feature Kody and his legal wife Robyn Sullivan Brown and what remains of the polygamist family. Reports have it that in addition to Meri, spiritual wives Christine and Janelle also want to opt out of the set-up.

The three spiritual wives have recently opened up about having each of their foot out of the door of the polygamist family because it seems that it is no longer a polygamous relationship the way Kody projects it in the show.

Apparently, Kody spends most of his time with Robyn and their new baby daughter, who came out of this world early this year. As such, the polygamist patriarch no longer has time for his three spiritual wives. There are also reports that he is not even spending time with each of them in bed and that he prefers to be intimate only with Robyn.

Falling apart

Despite the united front, the Brown polygamist family is reportedly falling apart and the only couple relationship that really exists is between Kody and Robyn and nothing else, reports the Ecumenical News.

TLC has yet to come out with an official statement to either confirm or deny the possible cancellation of Season 7 of “Sister Wives” or that a spinoff series will take its place in the network.

Other than the fans of the show, the cast members are reportedly awaiting for TLC if “Sister Wives” will be renewed for Season 7 or no longer.

Or it could also be a promotional ploy being employed by the network and the show to drum up interest on the TV series for its upcoming seventh season.

The right reason to leave

However, Meri may have the right reason to leave the show especially when Jackie Overton, the catfisher who duped her during Season 6, recently released the book “Almost Meri’d” which revealed her disappointments over her relationship with Kody.

Overton is reportedly planning to publicize Meri’s confidential voice messages between them, reports the Lawyer Herald.

The catfisher also threatened Meri to destroy her and their polygamist family. However, there are reports that the upcoming documentary regarding Meri’s catfishing scandal will be in favor of the Brown family. According to filmmaker Shannon C. Keith, the documentary shall feature Meri as the catalyst to have a discussion about catfishing, identity theft, and fraud.

The catfisher is also planning to put up a second website which will contain the scandalous voice messages.

Kody used to always brag that he would go stay with a different wife each night. But that does not mean that they were doing anything while in the bedroom. He has not had a child with anyone besides Robyn, so the speculations are rife that he has not been sleeping with any of the three spiritual wives as of late.

Sister Wives Season 6

According to an insider, the upcoming season of “Sister Wives” shall focus on Kody and Robyn’s new baby.

The latest addition to the polygamist Brown family, the second child of Robyn and Kody, was supposed to be born on January 7 but more than five days had passed from the due date, the baby girl has yet to come out in the world.

The baby girl is the 18th member of the Brown family and reports have it that Robyn’s latest pregnancy and the littlest girl in the house shall be the focus of “Sister Wives” Season 7, if it materializes.

  1. The show is cancelled it appears. Because of that, Meri is putting out a documentary highlighting her catfish drama to generate a cash flow for herself and a huge potential windfall monetary gain. How much she will profit from the documentary has yet to be determined as Brown will be shopping it around, once completed, to ascertain the highest bidder. There’s talk of a follow-up documentary dealing with a in-depth behind the scene look at the “My Sister Wife’s Closet” successful business that is the brainchild of sister wife, Robyn Brown. Future documentaries may include Christine’s view on child rearing and Janelle’s road to success in the world of Realtors of Las Vegas. Detailing a school day from wakeup to bedtime for the Brown school aged children is another possibility. “When one door closes, another opens up” certainly seems to be the case for the talented and innovative new documentary film maker, Meri Brown.
