Mia Khalifa is now a certified Washington sports fan. Not only is her background wall picture on her Twitter account showed her name, it is actually written in the same font and style as the Washington Capitals, the team of the state in the National Hockey League.
And then her profile picture showed her wearing a basketball jersey of Washington Wizards with the No. 2 on it. The Wizards is the state’s team in the National Basketball Association.
The rest of her post on Twitter showed how free-spirited she is when it comes to sports, having fun with friends, and sharing all her interests, mostly about sports.
Interestingly, Mia Khalifa is from Florida and is an avid fan of the football teams of her state. But when it comes to hockey and basketball, she’s all for the Washington teams.
So despite the northeast blizzard that recently swept the US, she still travelled to Maryland early this month just to watch her favorite teams play.
A game-centric fan
While many are alluding that she may already be switching sides from supporting Florida to Washington, it seems that those are merely game-specific as she is still basically a game-centric fan. She still vouches for Florida football teams.
Since she is based in Florida, her passion for supporting the Florida State Seminoles, the college football team of the Florida State University is quite obvious. In fact, the Lebanese-American pornstar at one point even claimed on Twitter that she is the unofficial mascot of the Florida State Seminoles.
She also roots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when it comes to the National Football League (NFL) and perhaps the Miami Dolphins, both teams based in Florida.
But she knows and admires great football players when she sees one. She is very vocal about her fascination with football great Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos, as well as many other football superstars, be they are veterans or upstarts.
She knows the ABCs of football so she often speaks a mouthful about football games and players and posts them via her Twitter account.
Severing the ties that bind
Mia Khalifa sparked outrage in the Middle East after making her porn debut in October 2014. While she was born in Lebanon, she moved to the US when she was still a teenager.
Subsequently, her parents issued a statement claiming that they have cut their ties with their daughter after discovering she is a pornstar.
They said that they are probably paying the price of living away from their homeland because their kids had to adapt to societies that don’t resemble the Lebanese culture, traditions, and values.
They added that they have disassociated themselves from Mia’s actions which do not reflect family beliefs, her upbringing, or her true Lebanese roots. Just the same, they said that they hoped and pray that Mia comes back to her senses as her image does not honor her family or her homeland.
Meanwhile, Mia Khalifa just turned 23 on February 10, 2016. She tweeted pictures of her birthday celebration, reports the International Business Times of India.
The most searched adult film star on Pornhub also said on Twitter that she wanted to spend her birthday doing one of her favorite activities, which is goring on sumptuous food. So that’s what she did and she hung out with friends and went for a night out in New Orleans.
She happened to be in New Orleans for the Mardi Gras celebrations. Khalifa was also seen going to a masquerade party during her birthday.
While her friend is seen wearing a mask, the porn star seems to have ditched decoys of any kind and just let her face shine in all its glory during the party.
