‘Nashville’ Season 4 to See Avery Not Yet Ready to Welcome Juliette Back in His Life!

It has been reported that one of the highlights of the second half of Season 4 of the American musical drama TV series “Nashville” is the return of Juliette, played by Hayden Panettiere, to Music City.

Episode 11 of “Nashville” is set to return to ABC on March 16 which would actually be more than three months of hiatus for the show since it aired its 10th episode on December 9 last year.

During the fall finale of the TV series, there have been major changes in the dynamics of various relationships including that of Deacon Claybourne and Rayna James, played by Charles Esten and Connie Britton, respectively, as well as that of Avery Barkley, played by Jonathan Jackson, and Juliette.

It is likely that the midseason premiere of “Nashville” will finally see engaged couple Deacon and Rayna tying the knot while Avery would still contemplate long and hard on whether to welcome Juliette back to his life or not.

Visitation rights

Back in the 10th episode of “Nashville” titled “We’ve Got Nothing But Love to Prove,” it was actually Emily who convinced Avery to allow Juliette visitation rights to Cadence because the child needs to grow without losing out on mother’s love.

After their discussion, Avery agreed to give Juliette visitation rights for their daughter.

However, it seems like the decision of Avery was shortlived because reports are now rife that he will reject Juliette’s apology. Thus, Emily will be forced to push harder and bridge the gap between the estranged couple, notes the International Business Times of India.

Avery has made it clear to Emily that he does not trust his wife and also does not think that she deserves a second chance. He believes that Juliette is just being manipulative the way she has always been.

Real-life rehab

In “Nashville,” Juliette went into a rehab facility and was out of the series for some time. It seems that art imitated life in the situation as Hayden Panettiere was really out from the series after she checked herself into a rehab for postpartum depression, reports the Christian Post.

Thus, the executive producers of “Nashville” decided to incorporate the actress’ experience at rehab to what is going on with her character in the show. In fact, it was even said that when Juliette comes back to the series, she will still be in rehab.

As she will be spending time in rehab, Juliette will not be seeing her husband for a while.

There are speculations going around that Avery could actually have a new love interest on the second half of “Nashville” Season 4. According to rumors, he will be connecting with a single mother which could lead to a fruitful relationship.

But there are also reports saying that when Juliette steps out of the rehab, she will find a way to prevent the relationship from further nurturing.

Showrunner Dee Johnson stated that Juliette has been off the radar for a bit but when she comes back, she is going to come back strong and already repaired as much as one can be repaired.

The lady show creator said that they will find a spot where Juliette will fit into the landscape because her character is indomitable.

Nashville season 4

Although Hayden Panettiere has yet to make an official statement about her condition, fans and viewers should expect that the actress is already finished with her treatment which is the reason why she was able to film her scenes for the second half of “Nashville.”

But Juliette’s return will not happen in episode 11 but in episode 14 which is slated to air in April. The actress has recently joined the cast for the filming of “Nashville” Season 4 so her character’s return is already confirmed.
