‘World of Warcraft’ Expansion Pre-Event Launching to See the Burning Legion Assaulting the World of Azeroth in Different Locations!

As the official unveiling of the next expansion pack for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) “World of Warcraft” titled “Legion” draws near, game developer Blizzard Entertainment is currently in the thick of preparations for the holding of the pre-event to formally launch the content.

It has been typical of Blizzard to set a pre-event for every launching of new content since it does not want players to be surprised all of a sudden when they logged on and found out that the game world has changed significantly.

By holding the pre-events, gamers who are around will be able to experience the transition and shall be able to make sense of what is really going on, details Ubergizmo.

There have already been plenty of screenshots to the upcoming “Legion” expansion pack including possible details of the pre-event.

Based on those screenshots, it seems that the Burning Legion will be assaulting the world of Azeroth in different locations. The goal of the players is to stop the assault and they will have to fill up a bar which upon hitting the maximum, will begin a new stage.

Once players have completed the entire event and defeated the last boss, they will then be given an ilevel 665 item which should help them begin questing in the new zones.

Critics are saying that if gamers were able to appreciate the pre-event of the previous expansion pack of “World of Warcraft” called the “Warlords of Draenor,” they will surely be not disappointed with the “Legion” pre-event.

Since Blizzard has yet to announce an official release date for “Legion,” the date for the pre-event is still to be confirmed. But usually, the pre-event takes place a couple of weeks or a month ahead of the official release of the expansion pack.

But gamers are now able to pre-order the expansion pack and those who will purchase the game shall also get a free character level boost to 100, letting them skip all the earlier quests and begin enjoying the new zones right away.

Summer release likely

It seems likely that Blizzard Entertainment will be releasing “Legion” in the coming summer. In the meantime, while waiting for the next expansion pack for their favorite game, “WoW” players are either catching up on old goals or managing their garrisons.

Garrisons give players a way to manage a small army in menial tasks but the rewards are pronounced if a garrison is set up correctly, notes the Inquisitr.

Players can actually generate a fair amount of gold with one or many characters that utilize the garrison and its inn, for the Alliance, or tavern, or for the Horde. Once “Legion” is released, both the garrison and the shipyard shall no longer offer gold rewards.

The removal of gold from “World of Warcraft” garrisons will definitely put a damper on those using their garrisons to generate the gold needed to buy a “WoW” token. In fact, many players were able to use their garrisons to pay for a subscription to the game, essentially making “World of Warcraft” free-to-play for those with enough in-game gold.

“Legion” is the sixth “WoW” expansion and is projected to be released on or before September 21.

‘WoW’ movie to perk up interest in the game

Blizzard Entertainment is looking into the idea of including a month’s worth of game time, most of the game’s expansions, and an in-game item with the purchase of the “Warcraft” movie ticket.

The movie version of “World of Warcraft” is set to hit theaters later this year and game developer Blizzard Entertainment is enthusiastic that the film would help boost the subscription numbers of “WoW.”

World of Warcraft

In order to heighten the excitement both to the upcoming movie and the game, Blizzard Entertainment is actually looking at giving away “World of Warcraft” expansions with “Warcraft” movie edition.

Blizzard has just sent out a survey asking people if they would be interested in a “World of Warcraft Ultimate Movie Edition,” a version of the game that comes with all of the game’s expansions.
