Season 7 of the American reality TV series “Sister Wives” is set to debut later this year on TLC but the latest reports seem to indicate that for the first time in nearly seven years, the polygamist Brown family may no longer be complete.
There have been rumors going around after Season 6 of “Sister Wives” late last year that the three spiritual wives of Kody Brown – Meri, Janelle, and Christine – already have their respective one foot out of the door of their situation.
Apparently, they can no longer believe that their situation is still considered a polygamous relationship considering that Kody Brown has spent so much of his time as of late with his fourth but recently-married wife Robyn Sullivan.
With the birth of their second child last month, the attention of Kody Brown on Robyn as well as their new baby daughter has heightened all the more, leaving the three spiritual wives out in the cold, both figuratively and literally.
While the initial reports seem to be based on rumors and speculations, the latest tweet from Meri appears to confirm that she is indeed about to bolt the polygamist Brown family and that it could actually happen before the start of Season 7 of “Sister Wives,” reports the Christian Today.
Meri is the wife that has made the biggest sacrifice for Kody during Season 5 of the popular TV show. After almost 25 years of marriage, she has decided to divorce Kody so that her husband can marry Robyn. In turn, both Kody and Robyn can fight for custody of Robyn’s three children by her previous marriage.
Frustrated over the divorce
While Meri did not say anything official to Kody about what she felt following their divorce, a source close to the former wife of the Brown patriarch said that she really felt frustrated with her divorce.
It was one of the reasons why in Season 6 of “Sister Wives,” Meri got involved in a catfishing scandal that tricked her into having an affair because of her reported disappointment in her situation at home.
Reports have it that the scandalous affair is currently threatening to cause another problem for the Brown household as Jackie Overton, who pretended to be a man named Samuel Jacob Cooper to trick Meri, recently released a tell-all book titled “Almost Meri’d” to reveal the secrets of the Brown polygamist family.
In addition to Meri, the other spiritual wife Janelle has been talking about focusing on her real estate career full-time. The same source hinted that these developments could be the end for the Brown polygamist family.
Not sleeping with the three spiritual wives
Kody used to always brag that he would go stay with a different wife each night. But that does not mean that they were doing anything while in the bedroom. He has not had a child with anyone besides Robyn, so the speculations are rife that he has not been sleeping with any of the three spiritual wives as of late, cites the Latin Post.
According to an insider, the upcoming season of “Sister Wives” shall focus on Kody and Robyn’s new baby.
The latest addition to the polygamous Brown family, the second child of Robyn and Kody, was supposed to be born on January 7 but more than five days had passed from the due date, the baby girl has yet to come out in the world.
The baby girl is the 18th member of the Brown family and reports have it that Robyn’s latest pregnancy and the littlest girl in the house shall be the focus of “Sister Wives” Season 7.
The excitement of Robyn over her supposed delivery last January 7 was all over social media when she tweeted that they are all ready to meet baby sister. She also added in her post that she is trying to be patient but can’t wait to see her baby girl’s sweet face.
After January 7, Robyn once again tweeted that her baby girl seems to be prolonging the suspense for the polygamist family.
Rumors abound in Vegas of a secret fifth spiritual wife being housed away from the compound in another part of the city. Allegedly, Brown’s luxury car has been spotted parked over night at the location regularly, fueling the rumors of two pairs and a spare in regards to Kody’s spouses in his ever expanding plural marriage lifestyle.
