Captain America: Civil War Coming In May, Concept Art Making People Talk Early!

If there has been any type of movie that has been a hit at the box office, it is the group that are based on comic book characters and include multiple sequels. Movies like Irom Man, Thor and The Avengers have been top rated movies around the world and now they are spawning new movies based on the single characters in them. Movies like X-Men have done the same as the producers and writers look to tell the individual stories of each character involved throughout the years.

One of these types of movies is going to be released in May of this year and that is just soon enough to see the talking pick up on the internet. Captain America: Civil War is coming and will be the third movie about Captain America right after The First Avenger and The Winter Solider. Captain America: Civil War is also the thirteenth movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe collection.

The screenplay has been in the works for about three years now and it borrows much of the story from a comic book from 2006 entitled Civil War. The Winter Solider was directed by Anthony and John Russo and was reviewed and accepted very positively throughout the world, so they two brothers are being brought back for Captain America: Civil War. The title of the new movie was first announced back in October of 2014 along with the fact that Robert Downey Jr. being added to the cast.

That information alone was enough to get attention from those that thought Downey would be out of the Avenger type movies after the last Iron Man movie. Captain America: Civil War finished up filming in Germany in August of last year. The movie will be released for 3D and in IMAX 3D on May 6th of this year. In the meantime, the buzz around the film is likely to pick up steam as concept art has been released online. Since the beginning, it was rumored the Iron Man and Captain America were going to be battling and if the concept art tells us anything, that rumor is true.

Captain America: Civil War

The concept art appears to show the two about to punch each other. Does that mean they will be doing that in the movie? There is no other way to look at it right now, so the buzz about the story line has already started. Of course, the art has a disclosure attached to it stating that it just concept art that could theoretically contain a spoiler, or two. With the release of the movie coming up quickly, the commercial television spots are likely to pick up, including one or two during the Super Bowl.
