That fix can easily come by way of the Star Wars Battlefront video game that was revealed to online gamers back in 2004. The latest version of the game, which was turned into an MMORPG, was released last year in November and according to reports, a major update coming next month is about to make it awesome.
The game is based on the Star Wars films and while playing you get to see many different references to the movie franchise and they are enough to keep you excite to learn more about it. According to reports, the game has not seen an update for more than two months and the one coming in February is supposed to be the one gamers have been waiting for. There is no doubt the game was sort of a mess when it was first released.
Since then, the developers have been trying to get it all cleaned up and it looks like they might have done just that. The visuals in the game are just amazing, but the overall mechanics were getting major flack from critics and gamers all over the world. If you played the game since day one, you were at a major advantage in regards to the lopsided matches the game came up with pitting older players with new players, which did not stand a chance.
To gain some attention before the game was released, the developers decided to put a bonus on the game for those that pre-ordered it. That bonus was a DL-44 and just happens to be the most powerful weapon in the game. If you pre-ordered, it was yours and the odds you could be beat with it were slim to none. As you could imagine, that caused a bit of an uproar and the weapon balance has been worked on with each update that came after the game was released, but that did not reduce the domination of the DL-44.
Along with the DL-44, the Homing Launcher and the Cycler Rifle were added to the domination list. All of these tweaks and revamps have been created to bring the balance back to earth and according to sources, the last downloadable content package makes the game more worth playing for the first time in months. Compared to other games, Star Wars Battlefront was just not balanced enough, or at least to the point where it was not such a main focus and easy to see by gamers. Games like Halo 5 were balanced in such a way that you felt it in the game and there was little lopsided effect.
