The upcoming seventh season of TLC’s “Sister Wives” is heavily rumored to be one wife short. Reports say that Janelle Brown could be leaving the series to pursue her own career away from their controversial situation.
According to Design & Trend, Brown could be separating from her husband, Kody, as she has seemed to be engrossed in her interest for real estate. Brown currently works for a real estate company in Las Vegas, TMI Realty.
Reports say that Brown is also busy creating her own sub-company called Team Brown Vegas and is working closely with realtors Rebecca Brown and Mona Riekki. Also, in the team is Janelle’s sister wife, Christine.
With her new business, it is highly speculated that the 44-year-old reality star will soon be leaving her polygamous situation to pursue her growing career and be a high-end realtor instead.
Based on Team Brown Vegas’ official Facebook page, the women are in the market for both regular and high-end homes.
Riekki was also the realtor of the Browns when they were looking for an impasse property to build their own custom homes a few years back.
Reports also say that Janelle has had enough of the epic drama surrounding their controversial family.
Apparently, Meri’s catfishing incident last season along with Kody’s more attentive relationship with Robyn is taking a toll on her, thus, the reality star opts to live independently again.
However, Janelle’s plan to work outside of the Brown household is actually not the first. She already had left the family once before, as the reality star pointed out in the book “Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage.”
In the book, Janelle cites constant bickering with Meri as one of the breaking points that’s why she decided to leave. Although she came back after a few months because she knew her kids and Kody still need her.
Furthermore, there are reports surfacing that Janelle was the one who is convincing the other sister wives to leave Kody allowing their husband to just stick to Robyn as his one and only wife.
There have been incessant reports that Meri, Janelle, and Christine are contemplating if their polygamous relationship is still healthy for all of them and their children. Fashion & Style says that the three spiritual wives are trying very hard to create new lives outside the show.
Fans of the reality show saw how Kody’s relationship with his spiritual wives crumbled throughout the previous seasons with Meri making the biggest sacrifice of all by divorcing her husband so the latter could marry Robyn so that he can legally adopt Robyn’s three kids by her previous marriage.
It was probably the hardest decision Meri ever had to do because she was the only wife legally married to Kody then and they are already married for 25 years before they agree to divorce.
Despite having only one child, Mariah, Kody didn’t ask for a divorce when Janelle and Christine came along. He only considered her marriage with the two as spiritual unions.
Since Robyn and Kody were over to get custody of their kids, Kody began putting more attention to his relationship with his fourth wife hence, the rising tension between the other wives.
Design & Trend also reported that the upcoming season will focus on Robyn and Kody’s relationship and how Kody will act as a father figure to Robyn’s other three kids. Their newborn baby, Ariella Mae, will be introduced probably by the season premiere.
In addition, it was reported that Kody began being abusive to his other three wives since Robyn came along.
One instance was where he did not enjoy being with Christine at all to the point that he started bullying her. Last season, Christine was also vocal about her dissatisfaction with her marriage.
Any of the wives leaving would boost interest and ratings for the beleaguered show. Meri’s affair with Samuel was a ratings bonanza for the “tell all” episode.
Since her first publicised affair ended, Meri has not been tweeting much, preferring to maintain a low profile. That all changed with her new interest in a youthful member of her favorite ban, Van Lady Love. Her latest tweet was a delighted response to the fact that he wasn’t wearing underwear. Not quite what we would expect from an older Mormon type church lady, exactly. If this is any indication of things to come, we should be in for a wild and interesting ride for the upcoming season. Hopefully the fourth wife, who is so kind and caring and looks out for Meri, will be able to throw some cold water on the latest shenanigans and twitter flirting before it goes too far like last time. Meri’s love interests are like a wild fire, stomp it out here and it starts up over there. The fourth wife has her work cut out for her it seems.
