Getting characters from one video game into another game was something that gamers all over the world were wishing for back in the day. It was not heard of, but that did not stop them from fantasizing that their favorite fighter from Street Fighter could be in a sports game someday. Even though that is an extreme case, there is one series of games that have been bringing characters together for the last few versions that are released.
That game is Kingdom Hearts and even though the third installment has yet to be released, there is plenty of talk behind it and that includes what Disney worlds are going to make an appearance. The upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One when it finally arrives. The concept behind the game can be tracked back to 2006 and the third installment will be the first one available on a Microsoft platform. In total, Kingdom Hearts 3 is considered the eleventh installment to the Kingdom Hearts series.
The gameplay is expected to be just like all of the other Kingdom Hearts games on the market right now. According to the sources, the fighting will be right along the same lines that Kingdom Hearts 2 was and closely follows other titles like Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Disney has a very wide range of places for this game to go and even though there are already more than twenty worlds to play in, the list can keep on going and fans will enjoy every bit of it.
Some fans of taken to the internet to speak about what films they would like to see in the newest installment of the game. Some of the more popular suggestions include seeing characters and maps from The Jungle Book, Frozen, The Emperor’s New Groove and Wreck-it-Ralph. Each of these would bring things that are fun to play and would really round out the already star studded cast of the game. Other movies that were mentioned, but were not as popular included Monster’s Inc and Wall-E.
Characters that are common between most of the Kingdom Hearts games include Sora, Kairi and Riku, but there is at least one source that is claiming that will not be enough for the game to get cemented in the “classic” video game category. Kingdom Hearts 3 has been hyped so much that one might wonder if the game is going to live up to it when it finally shows up on the store shelf. There is still a bit of mystery behind how the concept for this game came from, but in most cases, fans are not concerned with that.
