‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Needs to Have a Better and More Comprehensive Dialogue System than ‘Fallout 4,’ Cite Game Critics!

Whether fans and gamers believe it or not, the role-playing game “Fallout 4” that was released by Bethesda Studios in November last year was a disappointment to many critics and gamers too.

Apart from its very shallow dialogue system, “Fallout 4” has an unimaginative story as well as a terrible user interface and crafting mechanics that overshadowed everything else in the game, cites What Culture.

Critics believe that Bethesda Studios should pick up the lessons and learn from it with its upcoming role-playing game “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

Because of the huge success of its predecessor game “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” when it was released in 2011, there have already been countless speculations about “The Elder Scrolls 6” mostly focusing on its setting, storyline, and everything in between.

A thirst-quencher for fans

While Bethesda Studios released “The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited” in June of last year to quench fan thirst for “The Elder Scrolls 6,” it was a momentous disaster too as it was riddled with glitches and bugs as well as an uninteresting main quest line.

If Bethesda really wants to continue winning over fans, it has to really make some drastic changes to its game development ways. Otherwise, “The Elder Scrolls 6” will just represent the final nail in the coffin, a proof that the developer’s old formula for success is already passé.

According to some critics, “The Elder Scrolls 6” should have a more comprehensive dialogue system compared to its predecessor game.

“The Elder Scrolls” series is heavily reliant on its immersive elements. There are not too many moral choices but the intricacies of the universe tend to be communicated to the player through interactions with non-playable characters. In fact, engaging with the other characters and learning about the universe is one of the principal attractions of “The Elder Scrolls” video game series.

Thus, a comprehensive dialogue system, that shall have the depth and complexity befitting an excellent role-playing game, is in order for “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

Additions to make the game even better

There have been reports that the official kicker title of “The Elder Scrolls 6” shall be ‘Argonia,’ but there are now reports saying that it could be ‘Skyrim 2’ which means that the game shall build on the immense success of its predecessor.

More than the title, what is important is the likely additions to the upcoming game to make it better in big ways and really better in the long run.

In addition to making available great weapons to the game, Bethesda Studios should focus on having more detailed cut scenes. By having detailed cut scenes, the game will be able to add more stories and make sure that gamers are actually feeling as though they have a role to play in the game world. The cut scenes can be used also to introduce plot points that gamers might actually miss when they are already looking to find the next monster to fight, details the Gaming Bolt.

Cut scenes are also annoying to some gamers, but there are still plenty of others who know how important those can be. Having better cut scenes in the game will make the story worth watching and playing.

Now that “Fallout 4” is already in the video game retail market, reports have it that Bethesda Studios can now focus on the development of “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

The rumors have a good leg to stand on since game publisher Bethesda Softworks did say during the Entertainment Electronic Expo (E3) 2015 that it did not make any announcement about “The Elder Scrolls 6” because it will do so in the upcoming E3 2016 to be held in June this year.

However, latest reports seem to indicate that it is unlikely that the game developer and publisher would make an official announcement about the latest iteration to the “The Elder Scrolls” franchise this year since their focus shall still be on the upcoming DLCs of “Fallout 4” and updates to the multiplayer game “The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.”

There are also speculations that “The Elder Scrolls 6” shall be based on either “The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind” or “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.”
