Cartoon HD had a lot of controversies in their kitty ever since the app came into existence. There were a lot of copyright infringement issues reported against Cartoon HD. With so many reports against the app, Apple was not very comfortable about keeping it on board with such negative reports and hence removed it from its app store.
Cartoon HD allowed viewers to stream films, videos and cartoons online for free. Ever since its inception, it became one of the most popular apps on the App Store. Users loved the app, because all they had to do was install the app on their iDevices and watch free movies and videos that were stored on the server.
Apple was not happy with one of their biggest app being constantly reported for copyright infringement. In an attempt to show that they did not support the violation of copyright laws, Cartoon HD was removed from the Apple Play Store. Apple removed it from iOS 8.0, such that users who had updated to the new iOS weren’t able to access the app anymore. Cartoon HD wasn’t going to let go of the huge market it enjoyed and soon found a way to move back in.
FliXanity was a major competitor of Cartoon HD. They began to enjoy the immense void left after Cartoon HD vanished. Fans took to FliXanity to stream free movies and videos on their iPhones and iPads. Cartoon HD creator, GappCenter, decided to partner with FliXanity and make an inroad into the Android and Apple platform.
There were rumours of Cartoon HD collaborating with FliXanity, but fans were not aware of a possible date or period. There were rumours and speculations, but nobody knew if the collaboration plans were on the table. One fine day, some users found FliXanity unresponsive and a spark flew. Fans started talking about the possibility of Cartoon HD coming back online soon!
The fans were elated when they heard the official announcement from GappCenter that Cartoon HD was indeed back. Cartoon HD is however not an app anymore. The service has been restored as a website. This means that you can now access Cartoon HD from all devices, including Android powered devices and the Windows desktop. All you need to do is access Cartoon HD.is from a browser.
Cartoon HD has figured out a way to avoid the copyright issues. Instead of storing the films and videos on their server, they now provide external links to websites that store the information.
There are some perks of using the services of the new Cartoon HD. Unlike the old app which would occasionally stop responding or disappear from the App Store entirely, the website has not showed any such issues yet.
