After the phenomenal success of Grand Theft Auto 5, players are trying to figure out what is next from Rockstar Games. Feinstein, the senior engineer at Rockstar has already disclosed that the team was working on Red Dead Redemption 2.
No specifics were disclosed by the game developer about them working on a sequel to the popular action game. There are industry experts who have sufficient data proving that the team is indeed working on Red Dead Redemption 2, before the sequel of Manhunt and Bully.
There are rumors to believe that Red Dead Redemption 2 will release at the end of next year. This was further zeroed down to the fact that the game will be release at the end of November, 2015.
Red Dead Redemption is an open-world, western action-adventure game. It was developed and published by Rockstar Games. Red Dead Redemption was released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010. It was not the first installment, but rather the second title of the franchise, after Red Dead Revolver, which released back in 2004.
The game follows John Marston, who is a former outlaw. His wife and son had been taken hostage by the government, and they want his service as a bounty hunter in return for the safety of his loved ones. With no choice at hand, Marston goes out to kill three of his former gang members. The game was set in the Western United States in 1911.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be played from a third person perspective in an open world setting. This allows the player to roam around the world at his or her leisure. Set in the Western cowboy country, it allows the player to roam around on horse-back or on foot through the United States and Mexico.
The game uses a player’s ethic and morality, based on how he interacts with the other players and how he treats others. There is an online mode for the game that allows the gamers to compete with other players.
Red Dead Redemption has won many critical reviews for its stunning details, visual concept, direction, sound, story and gameplay, which helped it grab the Game of the Year award. What sort of storyline the makers have in store for Red Dead Redemption 2, is not yet known! Whether it will follow Marston’s story is also in the dark.
The fans of the franchise will have to wait until Rockstar comes up with additional information. Until then, fans can tryout the DLCs for the game, like the one where Marston searches for a cure for the zombie plague that is spreading in the Old West.
